Peter was great to deal with! We had a very tight time frame as we needed to refinish the hardwood flooring prior to selling our home. The flooring had quite a few scratches and wearing due to large dogs. Not only did Peter get the job done in good time, but the finish was great! Upon inspection, we noticed a small area where the stain had pooled. Peter had it dealt with immediately and perfectly. Our real estate agent had also commented on how great the flooring looked once it had been refinished. We would definitely recommend ReNew-it!

In our lives, dishonest contractors have been a dime a dozen. It's out of hand actually, so meeting Peter Miller was a true breath of fresh air. I reached out to several refinishing companies and gave specific details about the job. Peter was the ONLY one who provided an estimate immediately without pushing to come by the house. I have two small children so meeting people is always challenging. I thought his no nonsense approach was absolutely fantastic and I wanted to hire him right then and there. To top it off, Peter was willing to take on a risky job. We have 150 year old flooring that is not even, had several layers of paint on it, a badly applied stain job in one room, damage areas and the list goes on. You can see three before shots and two after shots. It made an incredible difference having Peter's team by. He also sanded our entire downstairs hardwood floor that is modern red oak to match the golden shade of the upstairs original flooring. We actually have to have Peter back again to work his magic due to a corrupt contractor we hired who severely damaged our floors during a recent renovation project. Peter is always willing to discuss methods, answer questions and accommodate clients to the best of his ability. I highly recommend his services.

I hired Peter to refinish our hardwood floors in our living room and bedrooms. He was budget friendly and on time. Peter was friendly and seemed to have a lot of experience. We were so happy with our floors when he was finished! They look brand new again!

Peter was fantastic. We needed a recoat on our flooring it was done in a morning! We were able use the floor the next day. We have two dogs and its been great. We found his pricing fair and he was worth it. Cannot wait until he does our kitchen cabinets next!

I have to agree with the previous review. We also hired Peter to at the beginning came to look at our floors and give an estimate of what he had to do to fix our problem. He advised us that the worn areas were due to a problem with the top coat and he could refinish without sanding. We only had two major areas to be done but as they were connected to larger areas we went ahead with larger areas to be refinished. He came on a Monday did his thing and by the next day the worn areas were starting to show through again. I called him and asked him about this and like in the previous review he said "I've done thousands of these and I've never seen this before". I believe this is his fall back response to customers concerns! He came to look at the floors and said that he did not see the wear marks that I was showing him. I find this odd as they were the original wear marks. Save your money and go with someone who knows what they are doing. I wish I would have checked this site first !!!

We hired Peter from ReNew Refinishing System ( I believe he is the owner) based on the fact that he claimed he had 800 floors plus of experience and his website showed nice work. Our floors had normal usage nothing drastic. We wanted our entire floor on the main level refinished in satin finish which is what we currently had. We moved all our furniture, left the house with our 3 children for most of the day. When we got back the floor was still wet , Peter said to wait at least 3 hours before we walked on it with socks on. Which we did. After the 3 hours was over we looked at the floor and realized there were big streaks everywhere so we called Peter who came back and said he had never seen this but this was common with satin finish. This he had never mentioned upfront. He said he'd come back the following week to redo it. When we got home the second time the floor was a super high gloss and had streaks again which looked horrible again and in the wrong finish. We called him and he said he'd have to come back and take that off to redo the satin finish. He came back for a last time. He completely ruined our floors ....he did satin on some of the floor. the edges are still all high gloss and where he did satin it is all streaked. there is splatters of the varnish all over my baseboards and the bottom of the doors, on the walls and some tiles. Overall a horrible job and like I said our floors are ruined. we paid 1000$ for this job and it will cost us thousands more to have our floors , baseboards , repainting of the walls and cleaning of the tiles done , not to mention we lived without furniture on our main floor for a couple of weeks. When I contacted him he said he didn't know what to say !!! Very unprofessional and the lesson learned here is that I went on his word and the reviews from his site only which are probably all bogus. I would not recommend this company to anyone. the pictures are finished work..... Gratia
