Calgary Bathworks

Small bathroom renovation which involved removing floor tiles, a mirrored wall, existing drywall, existing built-in medicine cabinets, light fixture & a pedastle sink.

New work included floor tiles, new drywall, a tiled wainscoting wall, light sconces, medicine cabinet, fresh paint & underfloor heating.

All work was done to a very standard & within budget.

In the summer of 2013 our family had a disastrous experience with a contractor renovating our main bathroom. For 3 years, everyone including guests used the master bedroom bathroom as our main bathroom was not functional.
We observed our neighbor having their home renovated by Calgary Bathworks. Upon investigation, we discovered their excellent ratings and website. Upon contacting D Warkentin; we learned that our main bathroom and powder room could be renovated September 2016.
D was extremely professional and prepared for our first meeting. We appreciated the handouts and timely estimate to get the work started. It was obvious that D is beyond knowledgeable about the bath industry. His suggestions for toilets, soaker tub, hardware etc. were invaluable. Taylor, Ian, Aaron and Jerrod worked diligently to create our vision of the bathrooms. Taylor cut the tiles for our shower in the bathroom and then installed it exactly as I requested. He showed me many different patterns to ensure it was exactly what I wanted.
D and his team have a professional relationship with all the companies that install counters, mirrors, and flooring. One of our counters needed adjustment and our mirror had a few issues which D and the provider resolved quickly. D is meticulous about the finished product. There were a few extremely minor issues which we brought to D’s attention and he took care of them immediately.
During the cold snap we had a minor issue with our new shower fan and even though our bathroom was completed three months earlier; D arrived the next day after my call to adjust the fan. I appreciated that Bathworks doesn’t desert you once your project is completed.
We love our bathroom and powder room. We receive compliments all the time about both rooms. My experience with Bathworks was a combination of my wishes and D ’s expert suggestions to achieve a really modern functional space.

Had company renovate my kids bathroom. The renovation was pretty easy. Good communication with project manager who helps detail and price your renovation. Good project management. All materials were selected and ordered up front. Work went straight for 15 working days. Happy with quality of the workmanship. Polite and professional. We were very happy with how Bathworks renovated our downstairs bathroom that we called them again to renovate the upstairs bathroom, half bath, and laundry room. We had an overall positive experience with Bathworks and thought their workmanship was excellent. They were very good with giving practical suggestions and problem solving when we ran into a few issues. The crew was very professional and kept the work site clean and tidy. In our renovation, we used a couple sub-contractors and Bathworks worked well with coordinating the work of the other contractors. We found the people at Calgary Bathworks to be extremely professional yet friendly. They supplied a quote and all the other documentation, including references and we chose Calgary Bathworks because of their professionalism. Right from the start they kept us informed as to what they would be doing, they respected our home and put drop sheets on the flooring, covered our furniture with plastic sheeting and cleaned up the work-site each day before leaving. Their workmanship was excellent and the final product was truly amazing. Our ensuite was turned into a bathroom of our dreams with a 5 foot shower with a rain head fixture, body jets, a separate hand held fixture and a seat for bathing comfort. They also installed a new vanity counter with a modern square sink with a waterfall fixture. We have been very pleased with our new bathroom and would not hesitate to refer Calgary Bathworks for their excellent service, workmanship and professionalism.

Over the years we have had the need to do home renovations, with little or no success when hiring a competent, reasonable contractor to do the work. We hired Calgary Bathworks Professional Bath and Home Renovations , they truly listened to our wants and desires and made sure to explain all the possible options and limitations that could effect our job. The craftsmen at Calgary Bathworks are trustworthy, courteous and competent . The end result was everything and more than I was hoping for, an incredibly beautiful and functional bathroom. What a great experience from start to finish. Great crew, professional, polite, and always cleaned up at the end of the day. Originally hired them to renovate the master ensuite but we were so impressed that we hired them again to renovate the family bathroom and laundry room. Just love the way everything looks and functions. We highly recommend them.
