Dick of Calgary Bathworks is rightfully proud of all the positive reviews he and his company receive . . . well, here is another one! I had the company reno two bathrooms for me – one a total demolish and replace, the other an upgrade. When I contacted him Dick was quick to come and look at what I needed. While he was here he provided proof of required licenses, worker’s comp and insurance right up front. To me, the mark of a professional.
I had other quotes but chose Calgary Bathworks because I felt I could work well with Dick. He answered questions quickly, was very patient and offered some great suggestions and photos of various options. I requested an unusual ‘hidden’ cupboard and we all had some good laughs about it but it was done and I’m very happy with it.
My appreciation to the great work crew: Ramot the handy guy who could, and did, do anything, Shane the terrific tiler, Jeff the glass guy – and of course Dick and his son Jarrod, one or the other of whom was here almost every day of construction. The site was cleaned every day and they took great care to protect existing carpets, flooring, and furniture.
In the end the work cost more and took longer than anticipated – but the increased costs were because I added / changed things along the way and the job took longer because the fabricator of a custom mirror didn’t do a good enough job for the glass company Dick uses and they had it redone. At all times, I was kept fully informed and knew what to expect. The work is very high quality, the bathrooms look beautiful and Dick’s smooth and professional handling of the inevitable glitches that pop up in any renovation was much appreciated.
I think the greatest compliment I could give Dick and Calgary Bathworks is to say they earned my TRUST!

Well it is going on 2 years since we had our bathroom remodeled by Calgary Bathworks and we still LOVE it. They did such a great job AND without supervision since we were out of town when the work was being done. Dick kept us in the loop with email updates and photos. That was very much appreciated. There were a few glitches (to be expected when we were not around to discuss decisions) but Bathworks made it right and to our complete satisfaction. It`s easy to recommend this company.

The CBW team made renovating our two bathrooms a breeze! Convenient consultation times provided us the details, and after proceeding with the work CBW completed the reno in a very quick time frame. We were provided a ton of options to choose from, and CBW was very considerate and flexible when it came to completing the work on a budget. Dick and his staff were punctual, courteous and went the extra mile to make sure the job was done on time. Communication was excellent start-to-finish, and their work equally as strong. I wouldn't hesitate to recommended CBW to friends and family.

A friend had suggested Calgary Bathworks for my renovations. So glad they did. This is definitely a very knowledgeable, professional, courteous and professional company. I happened to meet all the guys; all easy to work with; friendly, courteous, thorough, and diligent. Jarrod (who oversaw the project) was insightful and offered some wonderful suggestions. He would touch base with me frequently; making me aware of problems, going over ideas, and asking me if I had any concerns. Everything was completed on time and within budget. They would be my go to guys for any future projects.

We recently used Calgary Bathworks to update our main floor bathroom! It was long overdue, and the results far exceeded my expectations. Everything was completed on time, and on budget. We even requested to install some custom antique pieces, which were handled with care and precision. All of the employees were professional, respectful and ensured the work site was tidy at the end of each day. Great job all around, and highly recommend this wonderful team for home renovation needs!

I have been wanting to redo my master bathroom for several years. Before I embark on any costly venture, I research the crap out of it. Over the past 2-3 yrs, I have researched several companies that did bath renos, and even contemplated doing most of the work myself with my handy brother. After realizing that materials alone would cost me $10K-14K, I knew it would be wise to leave the reno to the professionals.
After searching for companies online, reviewing BBB scores, online reviews, friends feedback, I settled on 3 companies to get quotes. One quote was stupidly high (the faucets aren't gold-plated dude), one was somewhat low and one was in the middle, just a bit higher than what I had originally budgeted. I decided to go with that company - Calgary Bathworks - after great online reviews and an excellent BBB rating.
I engaged the company for an in-home estimate. Dick was very pleasant to work with as I described all the things I hated about my existing bathroom and what I was looking for in my new bathroom. He showed me pictures of past work so I could get an idea of what some features might look like. He also knew that I wanted to remain within a certain budget and proposed ideas that would help me stick to that budget. He wrote me up a quote within a couple days, gave me an expected start date and duration of the project and we were off and running.
I had to wait several weeks before my project started, but the guys showed up on the date they promised. The first day was demo day. By the time I came home from work, the entire bathroom was gutted and materials removed, the foyer had protective cardboard laid down and carpeted areas were covered with a sticky-backed clear plastic. On the third day of renos, I came home to find the tiler (Shane) just wrapping up the base of my new shower. To my shock, it was the same size as my previous shower base. I slightly freaked but Shane remained calm and said it would be fixed. I emailed Dick in a panic. He called me back almost immediately and said the fault was his (outside shower base measurements vs inside got mixed up) and that it would be rectified before I got home the next day. And it was. The remaining 2 weeks went very smoothly. The guys would text me for clarification if needed. They cleaned up after themselves every evening and put tools, supplies, etc away in the garage. All in all, a very pleasant reno experience. This reno took place while I was away at work everyday as well, and I never felt like I couldn't trust the guys being in my home alone. I would highly recommend Calgary Bathworks if you are contemplating a bathroom reno.

We have used Calgary Bathworks for 3 separate jobs (ensuite, basement development, and half/guest bath), the most recent being the renovation of the guest and half bathroom. We consistently get great service for a good price and they are happy to accommodate any changes/additions that we make. Overall, this is a trustworthy and reliable company that we will use for any future renovation.

We hired CBW after interviewing three other contractors, overall I felt Dick from CBW was the most transparent about costs as well as he was very helpful in translating our ideas into plans and ultimately reality.
Work started and finished on schedule and budget. And through out the renovation they kept us fully engaged in what's happening. Overall I believe based on my comparison with other quotes I received CBW is really good value for money.

Dick and team were also very flexible as we kept changing our requirements as the project progressed and our requests were handled in a very professional way and delivered to our satisfaction.
