After chasing a different technician from another companyfor over a week, we requested a quote from Repair Care. We got a call within minutes and great next-day service! The technician gave us multiple options for how to fix the issue, allowing us to weigh the options and make the choice that best suited us. (The issue was a fridge leak connected to our ice maker/water dispenser. We chose the least expensive option of simply disabling it. The rest of the fridge/freezer is fully functional.)

Washer/dryer repair

I called Repair Care to have them look at my washing machine (on a stacked washer/dryer unit). My initial contact with them was on a Saturday and the technician arrived on Sunday. The technician, Dimitry, called in advance to let me know he was about fifteen minutes away.

Dimitry looked at all parts of the unit and found that it wasn’t only the washing machine component that was having problems, it was also the dryer. He did a thorough assessment of all parts of the unit and found that a previous repairman had not done something properly. While in my home, he made attempts to source the parts so that he could tell me if the parts were available and how much they would cost. He even cleaned the inside of my dryer unit!

I was exceptionally happy with the service. The technician called me when he was arriving at the job before mine and gave me an estimated time ... love that. The job took longer so he called again apologizing that he would be delayed ... love that ... then arrived when he said he would (revised time) ... love that.

He apologized again when he was here and explained that it was supposed to be a straight forward call but it turned out to be exceptionally complicated because it was the computer not the mechanics. Stuff like this happens to all techs but he took good service to great service by keeping me in the loop and explaining why!! And he did so in a friendly way ... not a complaining way.

He then looked at my washer ... diagnosed it quickly and even showed me what was wrong and how he was fixing it.... LOVE this!

... oh and one more point ... I called your office on the weekend after speaking to Lowes warrantee team but didn't leave a message thinking I would call when you opened on Monday. I was pleasantly surprised when you called on Sunday because you saw my call was missed. Because you were so in tune with excellent customer service I was able to get a tech here on Monday! This was AMAZING!

I would absolutely recommend to you anyone and everyone I know and we will definitely call you if any other appliance we have has an issue!!

Fixed a bad situation properly

BOCH dishwasher not working, washes for hours and does not clean very well. Googled the problem and it showed a common problem with the motherboard to activating the heater.
Went on Homestars and activated a repair request. Repair care first to call. They sent a tech on the weekend (my request). Tech that showed up did not really listen to me or what I found on google. Did not use any tools/electronics to test the machine. Told me that "for sure" the heater was gone. He will order one and come back. Requested that I pay the $250 for labor up front (which is what they give you as a heads up when you hire them)That was a Saturday. Waited till the Wednesday and no call no update. I emailed the company and they told me to contact the tech directly via text. So I did, no reply or update. Sent a nasty-gram to the company the next day. About 15 min later they called me directly and acknowledged the problem and the poor customer service. They sent a BOCH specific Tech to our place that day. He did listen, and diagnosed that the motherboard was in fact the problem and not the heater. Ordered the part that day and came back a couple of days later and installed it. Meanwhile Repaircare called and followed up all the way through the process. That to me is very good customer service. So in the end, I would recommend them.
