The installation of our new Furnace and A/C is without doubt the neatest & most competent we have had from a heating contractor. It passed inspection the first time without any issues. The inspector was impressed with the professional presentation of Blake's furnace commissioning report and load calculation documents saying they were what every contractor's should look like. Excellent workmanship by Blake and Matt.

Blake Livingston has provided furnace services to us in the past. He is professional, responsive, organized, and an extremely hard worker. The airconditioning installation was done over the course of a ten hour day. Blake worked both inside and outside our home connecting the furnace cooling unit to the condenser, installed outside. The work was done professionally and the areas involved were left in tidy condition. Blake spent the appropriate time explaing the system operation. I will hire Excel for our future furnace/ AC needs and would recommend Blake to anyone requiring his services.

From the day he first came for the estimate, he exhibited a high level of professionalism and a “customer first” approach. During the installation, his attention to detail, cleanliness, and meticulous execution of all tasks, affirmed my high level of confidence in his abilities.

He made sure that I understood all of the pertinent details with the A/C Unit and it’s operation. He even helped me program my thermostat so that everything was operating at optimal levels. After deciding that there are more than 6 days in Alberta that need air conditioning and that a 23 year old furnace was an at-risk furnace, we sought estimates from large, well-reviewed companies. Their estimators did not inspire confidence and disagreed on key points. The reviews also pointed to Blake/Excel and after meeting him and receiving a detailed and cogent estimate, there was no question about who would do the work. The inspector affirmed that he rarely saw such meticulous , well done installations. AND, we can now sleep upstairs.

I had Blake Livingston install an AC unit in my home in Edmonton last month. This guy is a top grade professional. He was punctual, friendly and extremely knowledgeable, but what stood out from all the other contractors I dealt with, is his genuine concern for us, the customer. If there’s a contractor out there who cares more about providing quality care to his clients than filling his own wallet, it’s Blake. He literally changed his footwear every single time he came in and out of the house, but more than that, he took his time to ensure the best possible product was delivered by going above and beyond what was agreed upon in the contract, and then stayed on well past job completion to ensure we fully understood the system and thermostat control features.
