24 hours after the call the repairman was on site. The technician found an electrical problem inside the unit. Fortunately he was able to repair it on first visit.

the FIX technician was knowledgeable, effective & personable.

I used my 5 year old KitchenAid oven self-clean feature for the first time & near the end of the cycle, the oven went dead. Unfortunately there seems to be a design flaw which overheats the controls.
The technician from FIX assessed the situation thoroughly & recommended a part which he installed efficiently - fixing the problem. He seemed very experienced & was pleasant. The sole concern is the high price of the part installed ( a major control of some sort). I have no means of knowing if the cost is reasonable & unavoidable for this part.

Dryer wasn’t heating

I am so happy that we had Raphael as our technician!! He diagnosed the dryer issue very quickly and explained exactly what was involved to fix it. He answered my questions and even gave us advice about how to care for our washer and dryer to prolong their life! He was courteous by changing into indoor shoes when he entered our residence and cleaned up after himself. He even cleaned some extra dust from our dryer that we couldn’t see. Very knowledgeable and respectful, he is welcome back anytime. Thanks Raphael!!! Highly recommend!!!

Appliance Repair review in Toronto

Fridge quit Friday, service was Saturday morning. Excellent technician in all regards, Denys I believe. Couldn't ask for better, faster, cleaner service.

He arrived even before the stated time. He explained each step and the reason he was doing what he did. He gave us choices and written estimates (and the final bill did not deviate).

Maytag dryer repair

Our 10 year old dryer had quit working so we called Fix Appliances. They called us back within the hour and booked us an appointment the next day (December 23rd). The repair person who arrived was on time, polite and clearly knowledgeable. I had expected to be told it would take weeks to order the parts (over the Christmas holidays) but he had brought a replacement kit for the items that typically wear out on my brand of dryer. I was impressed that rather than charging for a second visit he had proactively brought parts he would likely need (which it turned out were the ones needed for our repair) so he was able to make the repair, vacuum out the dryer, clean up the area and was all done in a single visit. Would definitely call them again.
