Our 10 year old dryer had quit working so we called Fix Appliances. They called us back within the hour and booked us an appointment the next day (December 23rd). The repair person who arrived was on time, polite and clearly knowledgeable. I had expected to be told it would take weeks to order the parts (over the Christmas holidays) but he had brought a replacement kit for the items that typically wear out on my brand of dryer. I was impressed that rather than charging for a second visit he had proactively brought parts he would likely need (which it turned out were the ones needed for our repair) so he was able to make the repair, vacuum out the dryer, clean up the area and was all done in a single visit. Would definitely call them again.
