I purchased the egress window package from VEL, which includes the concrete cutting, window with installation, and new window well. In order to accommodate the width of the hole in my wall from the old window, I required a custom sized window (rather than the one included in their package). VEL was able to accommodate the custom window size without any extra cost! Kim was always quick to respond to any questions I had and the crew doing our install was very polite and efficient. They even hauled away some extra dirt in our alley that was left over from one of my previous yard projects!

Kimberly and her team were wonderful to work with and the quality of work was amazing. Done on time and on budget and they went over and above to make sure everything was just as we wanted. We will definitely be using them again in the future and I highly reccomend.

We had VEL replace two very old basement windows as well as install a new egress window. Their quote was very competitive but what made us choose them is that they discovered that changes to our furnace required that we have fixed windows installed rather than ones that open. No other company picked up on this. They were able to fit us in relatively quickly and we are very happy with the new windows!

Kim was very helpful from the beginning. She provided assistance when it came to getting the permit for the window and she responded quickly to any emails and questions that I had. The workers left the work site in the same condition they found it. They cleaned up inside the house as well. When they had a question about how something was to be done, they took the time to call me. After the project was complete, Kim called to make sure everything was done to my satisfaction. A great company. i would get them again!

Contacted Vel Windows through Homestars. They responded in less than an hour with a phone call. Had a guy do a quote in less than three days. Gave me three options for glass. Were competitively priced. Installed the glass (25 windows) in less than three hours. Good service, good price, good people. I highly recommend.

We had 3 sealed units replaced in September 2016 (one large family room window and two smaller ones). Everybody at VEL from the very first phone call to the completion of the job and follow up was very nice, professional and efficient. The 3 units were replaced in less than 2 hours and the job was perfect. I highly recommend this company and we will undoubtedly work with VEL again whenever we need windows or glass replacement in our home.
