Georgian Door & Gate

Georgian Door & Gate (GD) installed two garage door openers for us recently.

My experience dealing with them from our initial contact through to the recent install has been marvellous. This company is clearly all about ensuring and delivering top-notch service.

The model we chose had to be ordered in, Bob (owner of GD) gave us an ETA for the delivery of the units, and then on their arrival he promptly reached out to arrange an install date.

Install day arrived, its the first bad snowstorm of the season, and yet the installer arrived exactly when he said he would.

After assessing the install, the garage doors required an extra part (no fault of Georgian Door) that the installer did not have handy. No problem, as the installer contacted Bob, and he jumped in his truck and delivered the parts in 30 minutes, and in a limited-visibility snow storm, so they could get the openers installed and completed on that day. Incredible!

Were absolutely delighted with our installation and with each step of our experience with Georgian Door & Gate.

We looking to purchase a new garage door and opener. I contacted Bob from Georgian Door & Gate. He came over measured the existing door and gave me a reasonable quote for a new Garaga garage door and LiftMaster door opener. The new door looks great and the LiftMaster is a huge upgrade from the original Mastercraft door opener. There were no delays in shipping and the installation went smoothly. I would recommend Georgian Door & Gate for their excellent service.

He was friendly, polite and very knowledgeable.
Not only did he fix the door and had it running better than it was before, he took a few extra minutes to check and lube our 2nd door and ensure everything was good to go.

The wooden garage door that came with the house was well past its prime. Bob came over to look at it and recommended a new door that was manufactured locally. When the installation crew arrived they replaced the old door and all of the old hardware.

Purchased a garage door from Georgian a year and a half ago, the hardware is faded and worn looking and the paint is completely off on one side of the frame. I can't imagine this fading from a pebble stone gray to white within a year and a half! I've called them 3x and they keep telling me someone will get back to me and come to do an inspection and nothing! I live approx 5minutes from their showroom. I'm angry and do not recommend them, the quality is not there with the product or service.

Fortunately the car wasn't in the garage when the spring broke. Georgian came over the next day and made a temporary repair. I went over to their showroom the next day and arranged for a new Garage door to be made (locally) and installed. The repair held out until the new one was in - the quality is great, it operates very well and completely seals the interior from rain and snow. Thanks to Georgian for an excellent product and professional service.

I selected a premium door manufactured locally and am very happy with the result.

Garaga Doors is a very reliable company. Their sales people know their merchandise and give good service with their product. The door is attractive, and adds a pleasant look to the outside of your house. Their choices are varied and should please the most discerning of customers.
