Lanron Inspections

My wife and I hired Ron at Lanron Inspections to do an inspection on a home that we were considering purchasing. Lanron had come highly recommended by a friend who had used them for their home inspection in the past. This house was intended to be our "forever" home so it was very important that it was safe and structurally sounds for us and our growing family. When we arrived at the house, Ron was already set up and ready to go. The house was fairly large and older (50+ years) so there was lots of ground to cover and questions we had along the way. We walked through every inch of the home with Ron diligently inspecting all significant areas while explaining clearly and simply what he was looking for, what he was finding and most importantly how concerned (or not) we should be about it. We spent 3-4 hours comprehensively going through the home and at the conclusion, my wife and I felt very confident we understood the areas of concern and how to tackle remediating them. All along the way Ron was a complete professional, extremely knowledgeable about his trade and also just an enjoyable person to talk with. An inspection can be daunting for those with limited knowledge of home construction and workings and although we are reasonably knowledgeable in these areas, Ron was able to express the more complex areas in a manner that was easy to understand. After the inspection when we had a few follow up questions on the weekend, he responded within an hour and was able to answer all outstanding questions we had.

Overall, we had a terrific experience with Lanron Inspections and would absolutely refer them to friends and family who are looking for home inspection services in the Calgary area in the future.

Ron is a fantastic inspector. He is extremely knowledgeable and takes the time to help you understand the condition of the house, what repairs should be done and how urgently they are needed. Jason met with us and walked us through the inspection process, and explained the reasons for the various procedures and checks.
He was thorough and efficient. We learned a number of tips for maintaining the various appliances.
Also he was fair and balanced. The final report itemized all items that could be a concern, and were documented with photos and
infrared scan images, where applicable.

we had a very good inspection time of 2 to 2 1/2 hours. We were very happy with suggestions and the knowledge of the inspector. We had our realtor recommend this company to us and we are very happy with Jason's inspection.
