Exterior Transformations

Exterior Transformations has gotten my vote the last three times I have had to changes windows (brick to brick install). Four times if you include the former company known as Meyer and Zapp. I have gone with Strassburger Windows out of Kitchener each time and proud to say all the windows are now done!! Mike has kept me well informed as to when the windows are arriving and when can they come by to install them.
I have no problems recommending Mike to work on your house!

We hired Exterior Transformations to install a new front door and French back patio doors. While the installation process went pretty smoothly, and the crew was friendly to deal with, there were a few hiccups with some of the manufacture materials so the job was slightly delayed while components were replaced. I am please to say however, that the owner of the company, offered a discount on his original quote, even though the delays were mostly due to the manufacturer. It was nice to see a contactor take responsibility for his work and put the customer first. You can feel confident hiring Exterior Transformation for your next renovation.

Product presentation and quote was done in a professional way-very well explained and with no pressure. Installers were quick, courteous, did a quality job, and cleaned up after completing there work. Very pleased with the results of this project and the work done.

We contacted Exterior Transformations for a quote on supplying and installing a new patio door to replace a regular door. Mike visited our home provided the information We required and provided me with a quote. Mike was very personable and professional and explained every detail to us.
We did get another quote from another supplier and that experience as not so good, pricing was in the same ball park.
We had the work done and the crew who did the work were awesome. They completed the job quickly and with very little mess and disruption. I was amazed at how well this project went and when completed, although a new patio door it looked like it had always been there. The project included cutting the opening wider than the existing door and I could not believe how well that was done. We love the patio door, it has the blinds inside the panes, something anyone considering a patio door should think about.
I would strongly recommend Exterior Transformations you can not beat the quality, value and workmanship!

We are very pleased with our new Strassburger windows replaced by Exterior Transformations. Mike recommended brick-to-brick installation and initially I wanted a retrofit but later changed my mind. Needless to say, it turned out much better than I expected in many ways:
1. I was afraid of damage to my ceramic tiles around kitchen and bathrooms windows – absolutely nothing happened !
2. I was concerned with the dust - yes, there was quite a bit of dust but the installers removed the debris every day and we were able to clean up the rooms after the installation relatively fast
3. I was anxious about excessive amount of caulking and painting of new frames - the quality and tightness of installed window seals and frames are superb; freshly painted new frames and the trim around new windows look magnificent; old frames were OK but they were painted and re-painted many times before so even with a new coat of paint they would have looked old !
4. I like wide-slat wood blinds matching interior or exterior decoration colors – mounted inside the frame of great–looking windows they look absolutely perfect.
5. Mike actually delivered more than he promised in the contract which was a pleasant surprise that hasn’t happened to us before although we have gone through our fair share of home renovations.

I would highly recommend Exterior Transformations to all potential customers contemplating windows installation in their homes.

Mike was excellent to deal with. He came out looked at the existing doors, took pictures, showed us some options and how they'd look on our house. He addressed all our questions and was extremely knowledgeable. Installation was done on time, clean up etc., done properly and there was follow-up to ensure we were happy with the work.

Exterior Transformations is an excellent company to work with and I would not hesitate to recommend them and have them do more work at my home! They are honest, professional, respectful, knowledgeable and patient with customers like myself who don't know much about windows or doors. I was especially impressed with the way Mike Meyer handled an issue that came up with my French Doors - he dealt with it immediately and the way he dealt with it exemplified a true customer centric philosophy/company. It was then that I realized how glad I was that I had chosen Exterior Transformations for this expensive project.
