Ky was fantastic to work with from the very beginning. He responded to my homestars inquiry right away, provided a competitive quote and even paid us a site visit to make sure he fully understood the scope (we installed raw maple in previously carpeted areas, refinished existing maple, and then custom stained everything to match). He made sure we were comfortable with the process, timeline and budget throughout the entire project which helped us 'newbie' homeowners out a lot - receiving progress update pictures via text was the highlight of each day! Ky respected our home, completed the project on time and on budget, left the place clean and did a PHENOMENAL job with our floors. His excitement and passion for custom stains was so contagious! We hired Ky based on his personality, honesty, and homestar reviews. His quote was comparable to others, but we liked that he quotes and does the work as well. I'm fairly handy, so I offered to remove the baseboards for Ky to help speed up the job. What started out to be a quick 5 day refinish job, turned into a 2 week hardwood repair. It turns out that the builder nailed the bathroom trim through the water line, so when I removed the trim, it developed a leak behind the drywall and warped all the wood in the bathroom and front entrance. Ky found the issue right away, turned off the water and let us know. He gave a few options to fix, and in the end we had him tear out the damaged boards and replace with new maple. Ky helped us pick a great looking stain that brings out multiple colors in our hardwood and his satin finish looks clean all the time. He works late hours to get the job done to balance his family life with his new baby. He shows up on time, cleans up, and does great work. We love our new floor and wouldn't hesitate to use Bull Tough for repairs or complete jobs.

Found Bull Tough Flooring through a Google search and read the reviews on here. Ky keeps everything simple. He gave us an exact price over the phone, booked us in right there and then had the work completed on time and within budget as promised. We had him come in and refinish our old fir stair case and upstairs hallway. The pictures aren't very clear but the floor and stairs look amazing.

We just had our pre-finished maple floors refinished by Bull Tough Flooring and are very happy. We were originally looking to get a new floor but Ky educated us and informed us that pre-finished floors can be sanded although the costs involved were higher than expected. He was professional from the first phone call to saying goodbye and shaking my hand. Thanks Ky.

Our floors were old and heavily damaged by 2 150lbs dogs. Ky and his team did a great job making our floors look new again. Very fast turnaround which was great.

The fir floors in our century home were already past their last legs, but Ky was willing to get one last refinish out of them and help us patch up the worst bits. He was very straightforward to work with, answered questions and concerns promptly and did a very good job, even finishing a day ahead of schedule. We appreciated his confidence in getting the job done well and his policy of taking full payment upon completion of the job.

I found Ky's advertisement in kijiji for hardwood refinishing and e-mailed and he responded back right away which impressed me as many of the other kijiji advertisers didn't even respond back. Also a lot will not touch engineered flooring but Ky was willing to refinish ours at a decent price.

His team started on time and finished a day early which is always a bonus. The quality of their workmanship was great and we weren't disappointed. I had a couple of concerns after the floors were completed and again he responded right away and addressed them. I would recommend his team if you are thinking of doing any refinishing.
