We hired Ky based on his personality, honesty, and homestar reviews. His quote was comparable to others, but we liked that he quotes and does the work as well. I'm fairly handy, so I offered to remove the baseboards for Ky to help speed up the job. What started out to be a quick 5 day refinish job, turned into a 2 week hardwood repair. It turns out that the builder nailed the bathroom trim through the water line, so when I removed the trim, it developed a leak behind the drywall and warped all the wood in the bathroom and front entrance. Ky found the issue right away, turned off the water and let us know. He gave a few options to fix, and in the end we had him tear out the damaged boards and replace with new maple. Ky helped us pick a great looking stain that brings out multiple colors in our hardwood and his satin finish looks clean all the time. He works late hours to get the job done to balance his family life with his new baby. He shows up on time, cleans up, and does great work. We love our new floor and wouldn't hesitate to use Bull Tough for repairs or complete jobs.

We moved the majority of our home ourselves. I hired Highland to pack and move our basement, my triple garage, and shed. It didn't matter that it was a smaller job. The packers and movers showed up on time, they were honest with hours, they were professional to deal with, and my wife had great things to say about when they unloaded everything. I wouldn't hesitate to hire Highland again. You definitely get what you pay for.

Gerry was recommended by Brent at Shift Air (also great reviews). He was quite busy and I had to book a month ahead. When the scheduled day came it was -30 and a blizzard, so Gerry phone us on a Sunday and rebooked for later in the week. He showed up on time, did a good job, and even pressure washed the heat and return vents. The wife was very impressed with their work as she was home at the time. His bill was lower than his quote, which says alot about his honesty. I will be rebooking in 5 years time

I phoned quite a few stucco contractors in the spring. Some didn't return my call, others weren't intrested, and some obviously were trying to gouge. Dave and Tony returned my call right away and we set up a time. They were in the ballpark with their quotes, they made recommendations and explained the repairs. I booked them about 4 months ahead of time for a complete house recoat. In the end, the finished product was excellent and we're very happy. It took them a little longer than I expected, but I think they had some manpower issues to deal with. All in all, I would recommned Nexgen for repairs and new stucco installs. Our house next to the neighbors looks 10 times better.

My garage door was giving me grief. I phoned Action and they pretty much diagnosed it over the phone that it was a broken internal spring and was 2 weeks delivery. They recommended installing just a regular spring for 1/2 the cost. I also had them install new weatherstripping. The service guy showed up on time, explained different things to me and showed me how to maintain the garage door (who knew that you actually had to lubicate hinges, rollers, etc). They we professional and their diagnosis was spot on. The door has worked flawlessy for the past year.
