We were very nervous when buying our first home. Stephen was very patient with all of our questions and went above and beyond, even recommending some things we should put in our purchasing agreement. his report was very detailed and included lots of photos. His pricing for an inspection was very reasonable, and much lower than other quotes I had received. His dedication to his job is really evident in the amount of time he spent on our inspection as well as his friendly and positive attitude.

Steve was amazing. He was professional and thorough. Steve took his time during my inspection to answer any question I had. His attention to detail inside and out was fantastic. My wife found Stephen via Google. We had to obtain a Home Inspection for a property that is approx 27 years old. Stephen called my wife back immediately, and scheduled an onsite overview of the property right away. Stephen was on prem when we arrived, and I had the opportunity to "ghost" him on every aspect of reviewing the property. Stephen is an excellent resource when it comes to mechanical and structural matters. He took his time to explain everything to both my wife and I, and went the extra yard to ensure we did "understand" what was being iterated. Fantastic service!!! I had the inspection scheduled for the new house I bought, and Stephen came highly recommended. And sure enough, the first news was good news: even if we arrived a few minutes earlier, Stephen was already on the roof. Immediately I thought that this is very good sign. And everything that followed after confirmed my first impression. Stephen did a very thorough inspection, and I had the feeling the he is really on our side, making sure that he uncovered pretty much everything that should be uncovered, taking the time to explain everything to us, making recommendations, very calm, very polite, very knowledgeable.
The report we received from him (same day in the afternoon) was very thorough, with colour pictures, explaining everything point by point. He also made a point to mention several times to us that he is just a phone call away if we need any help, any further explanations....anything!

We recently purchased a home in Erin Ontario and was referred to Stephen Kelk by our real estate agent. We were moving from a very suburban neighbourhood to a rural property and there were many different features of the property that I was not familiar with. I wanted someone who would take the time to really explain things to me as we went through.
