We used Drainrock to complete a french drain in our backyard and flush our drain tiles. After researching many other companies for drainage services, I found Drainrock. Bob came out and from the beginning, I knew he was someone I could trust. He was transparent about the cost/services and very knowledgeable about everything drainage.

Our work was scheduled to be done during his very busy rainy season but he always kept us informed about scheduling. The french drain was completed in record time and the flush found a massive root in the pipe.

In October of 2024, during the atmospheric river climate event, our crawlspace was flooded for the first time in the 30 years we have lived in our home. After an extensive professional clean up process had begun, the insurance company determined that they would not cover our costs saying it was due to issues with the drainage around our home. Since we had never had any issues like this before, and given that 10 of our neighbours were also flooded on the same day, we called Drainrock Industries and asked if they could come out and do an assessment of our property. The owner, Bob, was incredibly responsive despite being very busy and arrived the next day. His extensive knowledge and experience were obvious from the minute he arrived, and we were grateful for his willingness to dispatch his crew asap to inspect our system. Two days later, the fellas arrived on time and performed a full flush and scope of our system and were able to determine that the cause of our flood was a blockage in the township storm sewer drain and not our system at all. They provided us with a full written report and usb video recording of our system for our use moving forward in our dealings with the township and insurance company.

Bob, laid out the problem as he saw it and when it came time to Complete the work did it in a timely manner and as scheduled. Our home is 50 plus years of age and the drainage was way past its prime. We needed a full replacement of our drain tile. After our due diligence of getting multiple quotes, we settled on Drainrock Industries. Upon meeting Bob, I had a good feeling that he was the guy I needed for the job. After a walk around and rapport building, he said I would have a quote within 24 hours. The quote arrived in my email box later that evening and I was pleasantly surprised at the price.

After they received the city permit, they came and did a walk through the day before starting. This is where the fun begins. As they started to excavate our yard we were hit with an atmospheric river. It was a little nerve-racking as the water started to fill in the trench that was dug. The team did prepare for this and protected us well and made it through unscathed.

We knew that the yard was going to be a mess while the work was being done and I kept saying short term pain for long term gain. At times we just smiled and shook our heads while the team just kept their heads down and moving forward as the professionals they are. The whole process took a little over two weeks to complete and I felt there was going to be a big mess to clean-up. A few times both my wife and I were assured by Bob that it will look great once it is completed. He was right, and we are so pleased with the work that was done and the clean-up as they put things back together.
