Reliance Home Comfort Calgary

we had a new furnace/AC installed on weekend of July 26. The two installers did a great job.
Throughout the weekend, I noticed that the "heat" option was not available on the thermostat setting. I looked through the owner's manual with no instruction to do this. I called the 1-800 Honeywell # and they spent 20 min and could not solve the issue.
I called Reliance Comfort, the lady on the phone took my info and said a tech would contact me, ASAP. It was no more than 2 minutes later, when Skylar called me back. His first words after I described the issue was; "Oh, I know this particular model of thermostat like the back of my hand.." Skylar walked me through it and we had it fixed in less than 2 minutes!

I had read earlier reviews about Reliance and was quite excited to deal with them. That excitement has not subsided. Brenda was AMAZING and FANTASTIC! She explained everything to me so that I could understand and then explain to my father, who was so impressed that they are considering getting an air conditioner after not having one for 40+ years! Brenda knows her stuff and cares about explaining things to her customers. When the installation crew came out today, my satisfaction with Reliance continued, Zach and Matt were fantastic. They worked above and beyond to make sure that I was satisfied with their work. They were clean and neat and showed respect for my house and property. They put in lots of extra work to put my AC unit in a difficult location that other companies had refused to do saying that it was too difficult. I have recommended Brenda to numerous friends (and family) and would definitely make sure they ask for Zach and Matt to come to complete the job. When i need to have my hot water tank replaced I will have Brenda and hopefully Zach and Matt come back.

A great experience - starting with Janice who was very informed and did a good job selling the project along with Chris who provided technical details specific to my project. The installers (Darren, Rob and two others whose names slip me - sorry guys!) were very professional, courteous, and dedicated - they stayed until after 9pm on the first day of the install just to ensure that my thermostat was properly installed and that the furnace operated properly - even after Darren was forced to leave early due to an "all-thumbs" incident, and then returned on Sunday (yesterday) to complete the A/C install. A well executed project, with good interior floor protection and cleanup afterwards. The only miss was that the humidifier was on the quote but did not make it to the work list and will be installed on a separate visit.

The reliance sales person was quite knowledgable. He was honest about what will be right for my home and didn't up sell me when my house on on the fence between a 3.5 ton and 4 ton. I only had to wait 2 days for the install. I did have the A/C unit ice up the next day, but the techs came out right away and fixed the issue. Overall I's satisfied with their service.

Our experience with Reliance has been wonderful. Everyone was great to deal with from Janice Martin who was very informative and answered all our questions while not being pushy to the installers Darren and Rob who were fantastic. They were very friendly and knowledgeable and make sure everything was done right and they did a neat clean install. This company knows what customer service is all about. It was great to come home on the hottest day of the year and have a cool house. Thanks!!!!

Was able to get someone out to our home the same day, which was not the case with other companies. Lorne from Reliance was great. Punctual and extremely helpful. I will use Reliance again for sure.

The sales person Brenda was excellent. She knew her product and was very friendly. There was no pressure and I did not feel as if she was pushing the product on me. I would recommend Reliance Home Comfort based on Brenda's expertise and the product line.

Recently we had 2 furnaces, 2 A/C units, 2 humidifiers, 2 wireless thermostats, a direct vent hot water tank installed by Chris, Skylar, Daryl and Rob from Reliance and a new sub-panel installed by Reliance's electrical contractor (Stallion Systems) in April, 2014. This was not an easy installation as the basement configuration made it difficult. However, the team made a hard job look easy and they resolved any concerns that came up during the installation. When it was all done the job looked great. The units have been running for the last month now and everything is working 100%. Thank-you Chris for you and your team's hard work! Thank-you to Craig and John for approving the free replacement of my existing hot water tanks with a more compatible model that would work better with the new furnaces and venting system. I am a tradesman myself and can see that the job was done in a professional manner. Reliance went above and beyond to work through the complex nature of this installation and all the while they continued to be polite, supportive and cooperative while answering my many questions. I would recommend these guys and Reliance to anyone. Good job! read less

The Installers (Skylar & Darren) were fantastic, they did a great job and went above and beyond the call of duty. I am very happy with the outcome so far. I would recommend this company for sure.

Skylar, Chris and Rob, wonderful, helpful, extremely pleasant young men who arrived on time. there was a mix up as we wanted ac moved at same time as tankless water heater installed. mix up on our request about ac but the guys called and got it set up for the same day. I would highly recommend them for any job, cleaned up their mess which is very appreciated by both of us. thanks again, very excited with newtank
