A Nightmare Experience: My Disastrous Encounter with Max Water Flow.

I recently had the unfortunate experience of dealing with Max Water Flow out of Ontario, Canada , and it's safe to say that it was nothing short of a nightmare. From the abysmal quality of their products to their utterly dismal customer service, this company has managed to excel at providing an all-around terrible experience. Filters and housings that didn't fit, housings that leaked and housing sumps that wouldn't thread into the housing cap. In summary, dealing with Max Water Flow has been a regrettable journey. If you value your money, time, and sanity, I strongly advise against considering their products. There are plenty of reputable NSF/ANSI 42 certified water filtration companies out there with products that actually work and customer service that doesn't make you question your life choices. Save yourself the trouble and look elsewhere.

Second time around with this company first time was great but it was pre-Covid and they actually provided service. Now technical services only by their leisure via an online email system. We were unable to get technical support in order to best assess what filters to replace our initial package with. The plumber and water specialist took the best guess so we placed the order. One of the filters seems to be faulty and would not work regardless of pressure. Multiple emails back-and-forth each one which took a couple of days for them to return, resulted in nothing other than trying to blame the customer. Ultimately they pointed out they they have a no refund policy and that clearly we needed better specialists in order to use their product. Arrogant, lazy, and zero concern for their product. Use at your own risk, but expect to be burned.

I bought Max Water filter system 6 years ago. The package did not have any documentation of installation, service support was not available by phone and email. Filter RO dripped down for 6 years. I used Teflon Tape but it did not help, a metal hug RO is full of rust and damaged now. Not a reliable company, I will never buy RO at MAX Water company again.

I am extremely disappointed in the appallingly poor service we have received from MaxWater. DO NOT DEAL WITH THEM! We spent OVER $1,000.00 on a whole house 3 stage manganese/iron and UV water purification system they recommended would meet our needs. The salesman indicated that the filters would last 1 year with 2 people in the house. After 3 months the iron is back in our water and so I followed their procedure to send a technical support request through their website to get answers regarding the backwashing and media replacement capabilities mentioned in their on-line product description ( I did not receive an operations manual with the system when I bought it.) After 3 days I had received no reply from them and so I phoned and emphasized to the receptionist the importance of our request. This morning, after a week with no reply I phoned again and I must admit that I was not too cordial on the phone this time and demanded a prompt response within two hours. I was told that the technician could not be reached by any means and that we would have to wait. I then received an automated message that my tech ticket was completed but still I had no response by either phone or e-mail. We accept that there was a cryptic message buried in their automated response that requested an invoice number. At the same time, receptionist was of no help!
THIS IS THE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE I HAVE EVER RECEIVED. SEARCH THE NET. — THERE ARE MANY OTHER COMPANIES WHO DISTRIBUTE THESE PRODUCTS AND I AM CERTAIN THAT ANY OF THEM CAN DO BETTER THAN MAX WATER. THEIR MANNER OF DOING BUSINESS HAS LEFT BAD TASTE IN MY MOUTH THAT IS MUCH WORSE THAN THE TASTE THAT HAS RETURNED TO OUR WATER.

Have bought three units over the last few years... Assembled as I waited, and only took a few minutes, and was able to take it home to install. No problems with supplied parts, installation or products. Great quality product at a great price.

Purchased reverse osmosis system for our home and it arrived extremely fast but when it came to installing it we had issues . I contacted MaxWater customer service and they got us to send them a photo of how we had installed it and they immediately told us what to change and it was then working perfectly. I have highly recommended to friends and family and continue to do so . Such a refreshing experience with a company that supplies both great products and customer satisfaction

TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE
Bought my first filter 6 years ago and I emailed more then once few questions about the functionality of the unit. My emails were ignored. Six years later
I bought replacement unit just this year and emailed technical question about my new unit. My email was ignored.... good prices but terrible customer service.

I bought replacement parts and they gave me the wrong fittings which they blame on me. Awful customer service. If you know what you want and you can just order without dealing with the Customer Service, this is a great product but if you have to deal with issues. Good Luck, the help is awful or non existent. Also, good luck trying to talk to someone on the phone. Worst, service, ever!!! I will be buying my cartridges elsewhere! Your company is losing a lot of business with the service you are providing. PS Customers make your business thrive if no one provided the memo!!!!!

I bought the kit to install the reverse osmosis system and have twice reordered the replacement cartridges. Good product and good company to work with and would recommend them to a friend.

I purchased a whole house large filtration unit, 20" x 4.5" about 7 years ago, installed it and have used it since. The unit has a 5 micron filter first in line, and then a carbon filter after, which removes chlorine and taste, etc from the water supply. I also have reordered filters and Charcoal filters without problem from their website. It arrived very quickly , and the system functions with out problem. The larger size also prevents a pressure drop across the two filters, no flow restriction.
