the deck guys

The Deck Guys replaced my (falling down) deck and a short section of fence with a gate. They came when scheduled and completed the work quickly and professionally. During construction we made some minor changes from the original design, they consulted with me on these and it didn't change the final price from the original quote. They were responsive and conscientious throughout, and even provided temporary snow fencing while the concrete for the fence posts set so I could let my dogs out in the back yard.

The Deck Guys are professionals who not only build decks but give you excellent design choices. The little details that I would never thought of, like a trap door to hook and unhook my gas bbq, are just second nature to them. They arrived when they said they would and were dedicated to my job, not trying to handle multiple, and were finished in 3 days. Great job, great price! Would ALWAYS call on them for deck and fence work.

We love our new deck!! The Deck Guys designed and built the deck my husband and I have wanted for a while. Details like the picture framing, the over-sized stairs and the privacy louvres really finish it off beautifully. The multi-coloured LED lights are so cool and look amazing at night, a total MUST!! We are so happy with the overall project, it's nice having a contractor exceed your expectations. Thank You.

Had the deck guys out for an estimate late last year, their price was about the high middle bid roughly 5 percent less the the high bid. They just completed our deck and it looks great we are very happy with the job. My father in law needs some work done at his house so I already talked to jim about doing an estimate

We worked with the Deck Guys to design a walkout (2nd level) deck with privacy screening and glass panel lookout over a conservation area. They added a superbly designed "invisible" stairway. The end result was spectacular! The workmanship was meticulous, the quality was superb and the end product is our dream deck. We added a new sliding screen door and put in a new top of the line barbecue, and we could easily fit 30 people - and we plan to the first chance we get. Great job Deck Guys and thank you! I am very late posting this, for which I apologize. The attached pictures were taken before the glass panels were installed. which took a few weeks longer as they were specially ordered.

The guys did an amazing job, exceeded our expectations.
The project started a bit late but with all the rain we had it was expected. Jim did a great job designing our deck and Scott and Ryan couldn't have been better. They were polite and answered all our questions. We are by no means experts but clearly the Deck Guys are.
Thanks again guys and we would definitely have you back to do our fence next year.

Brought in The Deck Guys to remove my existing rotting deck and build a large new one. They arrived on schedule and I can emphatically say they did an outstanding job. Scott and his crew exceeded my expectations and we are extremely pleased with the outcome. They also did a great job cleaning up the worksite once they finished. I would definitely hire these folks again. Watching them construct the deck, it was clearly evident they built a quality product that will last for years.

Sadly, sometimes you get what you pay for. We chose The Deck Guys simply because they provided the cheapest quote. The crew was weeks late starting, after we paid a hefty deposit, and then they put up a slapdash deck. There's poor drainage on the steps. Rough corners, etc. Jim has not responded about serious, yet easy to remedy, deficiencies. It's a real shame they run the business like this as it's not that hard to make customers like us happy. I wish we had hired someone else. Lesson learned.

Jim and his team was excellent at helping to design and build our fence and deck. Even tho our fence did not start on schedule the quality was surely worth the wait. I would highly recommend The Deck Guys.
