Excellent service, excellent work! They are efficient, honest, and knowledgeable. We've used Avert for waterproofing at two different properties and they did an excellent job. We also had them install new concrete steps and a new concrete porch and we couldn't be happier. They even rebuilt one of our basement walls that was crumbling where an old cool room used to be so that the new porch could be installed. If I could give them 11 stars I would. John goes out of his way to accommodate and is very easy to work with. He genuinely cares about his customers. I highly recommend this company.

I called this company, big mistake. I was dealing with John. They did waterproofing and they told me I need a sump pump. They did very poor job on the sump pump instalation, there's no backup sump pump in case if there is power outage. Which happened one Sunday morning for 2hrs. They did not even told that I need one in case power outage. I had to open the cover and empty the water in baqet from the sump pump hole. If no one happened to be home it was going to be a
basement flood. The workers did not
understand/speak English. Over all bad
experience.

Excellent & Professional company. I had called the company through a newspaper flyer at home. The sales person came home and explained to me the whole process step by step. He also gave the written quote. I had initially scheduled the work in December 2019 but had to postpone due to a funeral in the family. The company accommodated the change and did the job in January 2020. They came exactly at 9 AM. Put down ply sheets to dump dirt so that drive way and lawn didn't get dirty. Did the job with thorough professionalism and put back the drive way like before. They cleaned up the place after the work and left it neat and clean. Very happy with work. I hope to do the other side basement wall and also a legal basement entrance stairs. I do hope they'll give me a repeat customer discount !.

This team was very professional. They did what they stated they were going to do and more. Removed fencing, operated machinery in tight spots and rectified my problem. Unplugged a drain, repaired a hole , above and beyond what they agreed to do. Everything back to normal as if were not even there.
Will reach out next year for some cement work. Highly recommend this company and their team.

John and his crew came and dig,waterproofed my basement wall installed a sump pump in two days. When completed they put everything back cleaned up and washed. Professional workmanship competitive rates i would recommend Avert with out hesitation. good job.

We recently had some water entering our basement and when John (Owner of Avert) came by to have a look, we were immediately put at ease and impressed by his thorough knowledge of our situation. We were certain we found the right person for the job, and hired him immediately. The work was exactly as promised. The work and hatd working crew was extremely professional, reliable and friendly. John even called us back a few days after to make sure we were satisfied and to double check with us if we had any additional questions or concerns. They did state they fixed it - it dropped right back and is now worse. They have abandoned me stating they do not know how to fix it yet won't refund me my money.

To add insult they left the yard a mess - didn't board up some areas allowing rodents to enter and left a pile of dirt and didn't replace the bricks they extracted.

Advert general contracting was professional and went above and behind expectations. John and his crew recognized the issues that were caused by an animal and still worked diligently to correct and solve the issue without hesitation. Without a doubt I would use them again and would not hesitate to recommend to anyone.
