In summer 2019, Ed did a quality job on interlock around our fairly large yard and overall we were happy with the end result. He knows his stuff. As long as we were paying him to to the job, he delivered. Since he did most of the work on his own, it took over 2 months for him to complete the work, but we didn’t really mind. We asked him to work on a smaller job last summer and he showed up and completed the work.
The reason I have to give him 5 stars is because he also guaranteed that he would return if we had issues with anything and fix it. We spent over $10K on trees and plants from Tree Valley in Stouffville on his recommendation. Unfortunately, about 50% of the plants did not thrive. Last summer was very warm so some of the emerald cedars may have died as a result which is beyond anybody’s control, but there are some plants that he acknowledged needed replacement. Over numerous texts he promised to come in, but to date has not kept to his commitment. So if you want to work with him, he will do the job as long as you are paying him. But once he his job is done, don’t expect him to hold to any guarantees he makes:(

Working with Ed and his crew was a pleasure. I took about a half dozen estimates from various landscapers within our area and Web Landscaping and Ed's prices wasn't the cheapest, nor the most expensive, but it was spot on to what I had in mind. He was also the best to work with, very professional, and to say the least very patient when I changed the scope of the project and made the patio about 25% larger than originally planned.

Ed and his team went way above what was asked of them. He designed the patio properly, taking the time to lay down the foundation, tamper it down multiple times, with multiple layers. He properly put in a slight 4% grade to handle water run off away from the house, put in some underground pipes to help run rain water to the sides, and also leveled off areas that had some dips because of ground settling of a new construction house.

The quality of the work and the details of the finishing is excellent and top notch. I would highly recommending Ed and his crew with Web Landscaping and Design.

It's not worth the headache. This is the most disappointing service that we have ever used. The most disappointing part is that we hired his services as a result of a referral. This was estimated by the owner (Ed) to be a three week full time project for his team. He did not show up for several days, which then became several weeks. He said that he would bring his team of workers, but only one other person ever showed up, sporadically. As a result, this three week project which was started last year took over six months to finish. He used every excuse in the book, ad naseum as to why he was delayed. We had paid him in advance for some materials and because he was not able to complete the project he had full use of our funds for months. In the end we needed to re-purchase the materials and we spent even more money on this project than what was quoted on the contract. Every time that he was paid there was always an argument because he wanted more money than was stated on the contract, even though the work delivered was LESS than the terms of the contract. We were always battling against his hostility, unreasonableness and his unwillingness to abide by the contract. In the end, the work that Ed did manage to finish was satisfactory at best. We ended up having to hire another company to finish the work that he was supposed to do. We learned this lesson the hard way, don't make this your mistake.
