We're very happy with the service from YouMoveMe. Nick was great in being the point of contact and dealing with all our issues and making the move work even when complications arose. Daniel was cordial and professional and did the move in a timely and safe manner and none of our belongings were damaged. Great people and a great company wouldn't hesitate to use them again.

Vance, James, and Oz did an amazing job of moving us from one narrow Victorian house to another. They showed up on time, worked super fast and efficiently, and were incredibly cordial, helpful, and considerate. They made our move so much less stressful. Would recommend them to anyone!

Kyle, David and Oswin came on time and fully ready. They were funny and professional and careful. Everything was wrapped and the move was very speedy and efficient. We had two drop offs and all was handled with ease. I had total confidence in their competence and integrity and would use them again whenever need arises. I couldn't be happier with the job they did. Nothing was bother or a nuisance

Kyle, Vance and Matt.Amazing guys, and amazing service. Very polite.They even brought coffee. We had so many boxes and furniture. They were trying to be quick, and not waste any time. The price given online matched the final price. I have never seen polite movers like those guys. No damage or anything to the furnitures. They exceeded my expectations in every way. I recommend to everyone, if you want a stress free moving!!! Great job guys!!

Overall, my wife and I are very happy with the moving service by You Move Me (back in July) into our new house. They moved us out of a one bedroom condo plus retrieved some furniture that we had stored at a family member's house.

Our 8 of 10 ranking day is best explained by "The Good, The Bad and The Ugly":

The Good: Almost the entire move was very good. Rob and Kyle hustled the whole day and were also very careful moving our belongings and with keeping our house and condo clean. This was challenging because as luck would have it, the only time it was raining (and it was really rained) was during the move into the house where there is not much protection (i.e. the loading bay at the condo is indoors). We really appreciated them taking the time to Saran-wrap all the furniture. Traffic was bad but they kept in touch so we liked that. The final bill matched the original quote with Mike (the dispatcher), and in fact a little bit under the quote so that was nice.

The Bad: The company is clearly very successful and very busy because I had a hard time getting a quote from them at the beginning of the process. It took me awhile to chase them down to secure a quote and the time slot. Plus, the day before, I had to confirm with them that they still had us in their schedule (whereas I am used to the mover confirming). This all seemed somewhat disorganized so felt that we did not off to a good start. Still, will all the great reviews on Home Stars, we had enough confidence to still use them. Plus Mike was always very nice and professional when we did speak.

The Ugly: If it were not for this item, we would have given You Move Me a higher ranking. During the move, our brand new dining table got broken; that is, the movers loaded the table on its side so two legs bore all of its weight and as a result, one of them snapped off. (I think most would agree, the better, the obvious way to load the table would have been upside down with sufficient padding to protect the table top.) Rob was mortified and upon discovery of their mistake, immediately offered to have it repaired (at their cost and also to our satisfaction) quickly. The repair took about 2 weeks (which was stressful because we were without a dining table while we were hosting a big family event the coming weekend). While they did provide a replacement table, it was bar height; well, I guess better than nothing but still stressful. Nevertheless, in the end the dining table was fixed and it came back almost as good as new (though looking at the underside, the repair is functional but it looks quite traumatic).

Bottom Line: we are very happy, recommend them and would use them again (but hopefully, we aren't moving for awhile). Front-end planning could use some improvement. Dining table getting broken explains the lower rating (compared to others). Overall, very happy that the final cost just below quote and with the hard-working and generally careful/attentive movers who kept us in the loop during moving day and responsive regarding the progress with the table repair.

I had a fantastic experience. Nick and his team were very professional, efficient, and yet still had time for friendly conversation. The final price came under the original estimate. I was most impressed when Nick drove back to my home 4 hrs later (there was 1 more move after me) around 10pm (!) to drop off a small piece that had fallen of my TV stand. He could have easily not said anything and called it a day. But he went out of his way to get that small piece back to me. Now that's what I call dedicated customer service!! I would most definitely use You Move Me again, and will recommend this service to any friends who will be moving. The reason I did not give a 10 rating has to do with 2 items from the pre-move-day process: 1) the automated confirmation/estimate email after my initial phone call did not include an attached detailed estimate, so I sent an email to Mike who was referenced on the automated email. No response from him even after 3 days, so I had to call again to get someone else to send me the detailed estimate. If Mike is too busy, then why have his contact info in the email in the first place? Replace him with someone who would be in a position to respond. 2) The day before my move, I did not get a confirmation phone call from You Move, so I had to make the phone call myself. It would instill confidence if You Move Me took the initiative to phone 2 days before the scheduled move date. Other than these 2 items, You Move Me was a fantastic experience!

Although first experience wasn't too pleasant but Mike contacted me after the move and adjusted my total cost based on his original estimates. He also agreed to send a technician to fix my treadmill which stopped working after the move. I am happy with what he has done so far and genuinely believed this company takes each customer's feedback seriously. i would recommend this company to my friends.

We moved a 2 bedroom large condo to a house across the city. These guy were amazing. Evan, Oswin and Kevin were on time, friendly and very professional. From the first phone call to the last box the customer service was exceptional. I'm very happy with the results and would recommend them to anyone.

Solid company. We had some minor issues during the move, but Ashton and Mike made it right. It's refreshing and rare to see a moving company -- any company -- that will take care of its customers even after the job is over.

Communication and reliability are key to a move - I've heard stories about movers not showing. Mike at You Move Me and his crew, Adam, Rick and Evan were excellent - even when they had to move the contents of my house to an apartment up a flight of stairs - professional, personable, careful and considerate. I have absolutely no complaints, and reasonably priced for level of service I received.
