After finding that my service provider of 15 years couldn't give me a competitive price to upgrade my alarm, I called George. He was super friendly and seemed very knowledgeable and his pricing was very good.

I found SG3 through homestars and after reading a few reviews, I was confident to go with the company to install my security system.

I had just moved into a new place in a different city, unfortunately my car had been broken into, so I decided to put in an alarm for my own piece of mind. I had tried to go with the company that had been used in the house previously, but had been given the runaround for 2 months. I called George, he explained everything over the phone, we booked an installation and I do not have one complaint. After George had finished installing the unit, he ran down everything in terms of features, I'm completely satisfied with the system. Service was top notch, contract term was perfect for us, and price is very fair. Last but not least thank you George for dealing with a piece of old faulty equipment from the pre-existing system so promptly, truly outstanding.

First, all the reviews here are true. Amazing service. George came after hours because I was going out of town and was worried about people canvassing my neighborhood. He wasn't out to rob me by protecting me from robbers. He gave me exactly what I needed to secure my residence.

Second, the system he installed is first class. It can do anything except cook your meals. It alerts me in phone and emails, tells me every sensor that was triggered and times, even while it is disarmed. I can arm and disarm from anywhere in the world. GPS will alert you to arm when you pass a certain distance from home. He warranties the system as long as you are monitored through SG3. Which helps when u see how expensive monitoring is.

Third, the monitoring company is local and on the ball. I had a couple false alarms caused by my forgetfulness. Even though I disarmed from the panel, they still called to verify everything was okay. One more prevention in case of a home invasion.

Finally, even though the $40 monitoring fee is higher than most of the companies I checked out. I feel the peace of mind is worth it. No headaches and no hassles from install till now in the month since I've had it. Except one day the app was down which was kind of a pain. Especially if you set panel to no entry delay.

George is very nice guy, very pleasant to work with. He is very patient and explained everything that I need to know. His company response to the alarm very fast. My contractor by accidend hitted the window and I received phone call within 30 second. Very fast service. It is also the only alarm company we found that we can set up alarm with cell phone. It is very useful function for us.

George from SG3 was a pleasure to work with. There was no big sales pitch, he just gave us lots of really useful information, and answered all of our questions honestly and clearly. He didn't try to sell us options we didn't need and even talked us out of some we had been considering (to our relief). The most amazing thing was that his quote was the cheapest (by a wide margin) of 4 we sought and although we added several options back on, he didn't change the price by a cent. He stuck to his original quote throughout. We're very happy with the installation job and how the system functions. The 12 month contract is good, and automatically switches to month-to-month when it expires. We've had one false alarm and were amazed by the response time of the call centre and their interaction.

I recently moved back into the area from the U.S. and was concerned that I will be living by myself in an apartment unit on the ground floor. I was looking into security systems in order to give me some peace of mind. I looked into three other security systems recommended by others in the area, chose one, almost had that one installed, but during the review of the contract and explanation of the different aspects of the monitoring system, I no longer felt comfortable proceeding with that company (June 29). I was back at square one, and this time asked good friends for recommendations. They recommended SG3 Security - I went online to check these amazing reviews about SG3 Security and decided to contact them. I emailed them at midnight of June 29 using the email found on their website and explained my situation and my living space - George emailed me back at 1:00 AM (June 30)!!! He called me the morning of June 30 after his meetings ended and while I was still in the U.S. and answered all of my questions and explained everything. George did this in a way where I really did not feel any pressure. I told him that I would be coming back into town the next morning to get the keys for the new place and will only be staying for 3 days before heading back to the U.S. to finish up some work there. Because I was only in town for 3 days and preferred to have the security system installed before moving all of my things into the apartment in a couple of weeks when I'm back into town next, he came to look at my place on July 1 (yup, on Canada Day) 1 hour after I received my keys to assess the needs for the place. He explained everything to me and why he recommended certain things and made some other safety advice to ensure my safety. He squeezed me in and came back the next day, July 2 - on his admin day - to install everything for me before I had to leave town the next day. He was so friendly, courteous, professional, and experienced. I really trusted him. He was patient and explained how the system worked and how to use all of the features. He truly cared about customer service and for your safety and well-being - it was certainly a very genuine experience. Can't say this enough but AMAZING CUSTOMER SERVICE. I wanted to give George a big hug after but didn't because I thought it may not have been appropriate and I would have probably scared him :) Thank you George!!! I would definitely recommend SG3 Security to friends and family.

We did a lot of research into a new home security system and we found George to be experienced, efficient and competent. After the installation, we have had to call the company a few times with questions and all times, SG3 security has been courteous and prompt with answering our questions and replacing anything that needed fixing.
