I own a York furnace and one day the heat cut out. I called a few shops on a cold Sunday in November to find it was a wait or I would need to pay the emergency fee. And most shops did not want to work on the York. Fire N Ice sent a guy that new his business. He changed parts that were on recall that most people wouldn't know. He changed a part that had not failed but would likely soon that was under warranty...Wow! He then fixed the valve asap...oh and then billed me less then most others quoted....PROFESSIONAL.... I have recommended them many times since.

My grandma's furnace died while she was on vacation, most companies couldn't come for weeks(how can you leave a house frozen in November for weeks) Fire N Ice reserves Monday's for emergencies. They came out Monday am, measured and installed the furnace that same day. They didn't get all the duct work done(old house, had to be made to code) but came back later to finish. They also installed a new water tank for her. At first they wanted to rip up the carpet to dump the water tank over the drain, but we asked them to empty it in the shower instead which they did..They DID leave quite a mess in the shower and didn't want to put back up her ceiling tiles(she's 82 and they expected HER to do it??) but after some talking to, they did it. We cleaned up and then were pleasantly surprised when the bill was several K less then expected(just under 5,000 for new furnace, water tank, installation and all new duct work, including the fresh air intake) the few messes wouldn't deter me from recommending them again!
