Vimat Doors and Windows

Installed the windows in record time. Stained the driveway and siding with the foam insulation. During the heat of the 2020 summer, the gasket seal of 2 thermos blew from the heat. Removing the inner flashing of all the windows you can see the deframing of the window box in 3 of 4 corners. Air drafts noticeable with feather of by hand. One window crack by the deformation of the frame itself.

I had such a bad experience that I am writing a review for the first time.

The French door installation was done terribly and two crews had to come back on two occasions. Beautiful door but several issues. The caulking was sloppy and used to cover mistakes in aluminum trim cuts. The door latch was not properly aligned and it took 6 weeks to order a new lock mechanism after the key was no longer able to enter the lock. Constant run around and terrible service post sale. Unfortunately would not recommend.

This company is a real mess after the sale. I have to fight to get some service... They were very helpful before they cashed my check but after that, good luck. I would suggest you to look somewhere else.

I would not recommend this company to anyone. I ordered the bay window directly through one of their reps in May 2012, they delivered it in July but it was the wrong window and wrong size. They redelivered a new one in September - again wrong size. Redelivered in November and installed it. After a rainstorm this July, water came in and damaged the frame. Evaluator came quickly but I'm still waiting for them to contact me so they can repair the problem. (Apparently a faulty finishing) After all this and many days off work, they never even offered to compensate, i.e. rebate on a future window??? Mistakes happen, but really?? ... this many??? Very sad.

This project was to renew a bedroom window. They measured the window's dimensions and the next morning, they came in for the job. Within 4 hours, the window was placed and installed correctly. It has been 3 weeks now and there is no problem at all. The insulation is good and there is no air infiltration at all. Price was reasonable, service was good, would recommend this company to others.

The old window was removed without any trouble. The new window was installed perfectly and it fitted very well. The 2 workers were very professional and the service was perfect. They arrived in time, worked really fast and the job was done. Pretty satisfied overall. Would recommend this company to anyone.
