AFG Heating and Cooling

Highly recommended for great service, Purchased our new house from the builder, first week Furnace stopped working, called the emergency service department, they told us to wait until next day or call someone and they will reimburse us. Called AFG heating and cooling at 11:00PM, Fasi showed up within an hour, it turned out to be a faulty sensor, he replaced it and we had the heat back!! still working with builder to get reimbursed.

Rafi went beyond the call of duty on this repair. He had to search for a rare part which involved him making several trips. In the end he did a fantastic job and I would recommend him any day of the week. Great job!

Rafi worked around our times to schedule his visit, which came late at night. He showed up at around 8 pm after working all day. Rafi walked me through exactly what he was doing. He was extremely knowledgeable, professional, and courteous, and I was absolutely confident in his abilities. He did his work quickly and there was no mess of any kind.

We touched base again a few days afterwards, and Rafi helped us out again with some advice.

In short, fantastic service, and reasonably prices. I feel good about his work, and glad he was there to help us.

Our six year old water heater suddenly stopped functioning. We looked through homestars for a reputable contractor. We chose to go with AFG heating and cooling based on a couple of previous references. We were introduced with Fasi who was very courteous and personable. He diagnosed the problem and fortunately had the part with him. Problem solved within two short hours. I was expecting a hefty bill but got a great price with the service. I would definitely recommend them and would use them in the future.

As new home owners, we recently had a no heat situation and didn't know who to call since we hadn't dealth with a situation like this before. After reading a few reviews we decided to call AFG heating and cooling. Fasi the technician diagnosed the problem in minutes and we had our furnace running right away. It was a defective flame sensor due to lack of maintenance by the previous home owners. He did a thorough check up of the furnace and insured us that it's safe to operate. We're very pleased with this company and would recommend them to anyone with heating and cooling needs.

I am happy with the service I received from AFG heating& cooling , furnace stopped working one night after we noticed some fog inside the house, we saw the reviews on homestars, noticed that a review mentioned they left portable heaters for the night, called them, after the diagnosis, I was told the VENTOR MOTOR had stopped working, being late in the night, a replacement wasn't readily available, I was able to get portable electric heaters for the night, first thing in the morning they replaced the part under warranty and the furnace is working great!! Good service, respectful and polite employees.

Recently purchased a townhouse in Scarborough, was happy to know that the furnace was replaced a couple of months ago. Soon after, I realized that the furnace never turned off, the house was heating but the furnace would not turn off. Was referred by a friend to AFG heating and cooling, Rafi showed up, after a few minutes of troubleshooting, he realized the thermostat was wired incorrectly causing the furance to run consistently, took him 5 mins to figure out. Very friendly and timely service, would recommend them.

We had a problem with the furnace where it kept turning off on its own. I called some companies and all said this and that needs to be repaired which was going to cost me well over $1000. A friend of mine recommended AFG HEATING COOLING. I called and got some one by the name of Rafi, he was very polite and took the time to listen and offer different solutions. I paid no more than $400 and the problem was fixed. VERY HONEST AND RELIABLE.

My family and I recently had an emergency situation where our furnace broke down after hours. AFG Heating was so kind as to leave us with portable heaters till a technician could come out the following day and fix the problem promptly. I highly recommend this company for all gas and furnace related issues as their staff is courteous and highly professional. Waheed.
