Poor installation and worse follow up
This company should take responsibility for the actions of their installers and supervisors as that is why you have them. They represent the company. But as I have found out, supervisors for this company and the installers can tell you anything they want as the regional manager, which is in Ontario, has the final say. I had numerous issues with the install as well as damages done to the house. All issues were brought up to the supervisors, and they saw all the damages to the tiles, walls and railing within the first month after installation. They told me to do and what they would be doing to fix the issues, but unfortunately I received nothing in writing. I found out that supervisors are just there to appease a customer and say whatever the customer wants to hear, but the company doesn't back what they say, I should have asked a regional manager to come to my house to see all the damages done by their installers. All your supervisors saw the damages and shook their heads and said that shouldn't have happened, yet it did. I had told the salesman that I wanted 2 1/2 inch flat MDF, but received 3 1/2 inch which looked awful. Is it the homeowners fault salesman can't write down the correct information? I now have to buy new trim as well as I was told by the supervisors to take off the trim, fix and paint all the walls so when they come back, they would install the proper trim, which again, never happened, as supervisors have no real power to help a customer. So I have to buy new trim and hire a carpenter to install and fix areas that the installers messed up. As well, is it the homeowners fault the installers break tile when they took off the old trim? According to this company, the answer is yes. I have to rehire a tiler to replace the ones that were broke by the installers. That cost should not be mine, but according to this company, it is. . This company installers can do whatever they want to your house without repercussions.
