Home renovation

We’ve now had one winter with our Geneo windows and in comparing them to the 10-year old locally made windows we previously had, the difference is like night and day. The standard to which these windows were built is far superior to what is manufactured in Canada currently. The evidence is the comfort they provide, significantly lower heat loss, absence of condensation, and resulting energy savings. In comparing the estimates we received from local triple-pane window suppliers, the superior quality of Geneo windows makes them worth more than the price differential.

Dealing with Reiner has been very straightforward. There were absolutely no surprises. We highly recommend him and the products he offers.

Turn and Tilt Windows

As part of larger renovation, we decided to have all of the windows in our house replaced. We wanted top quality windows that were energy efficient, attractive and could be easily cleaned from inside the house. We carried out a thorough review and decided to purchase Rehau windows from Passive House Windows. We have lived in our house for almost a year and are very happy with the windows and are very happy with the service receive from Reiner of Passive House Windows. We have purchased about 30 windows and all of the windows have fit very well. We were also impressed by Reiner's attention to detail to have the windows correctly and professionally installed. A couple of the windows needed revision after installation and this was very well handled by Reiner also. In summary, we would recommend the Rehau windows and Passive House Windows.

Windows and doors for large scale renovation

Our large scale project included Rehau windows and doors throughout. The quality is absolutely outstanding and pricing is competitive in comparison to North American solutions that are of lesser quality.
We are very pleased with Reiner and his team, what Reiner brings to the table, how he does it, and the affordability.

German windows triple pane installed

Last winter did some major damages to our windows. We were debating between canadian windows and Reiner's windows. We decided to have Reiner's passive windows. Fibreglass frame, beautiful, solid, tilt-pull system, triple-pane and air tight. Simply amazingly beautiful. We had the bay and patio door laminated against vandalism and theft. Cost was probably cheaper than canadian for the same quality Windows. We had 12 windows, bay window, patio door and a large family room window replaced. We also had these great shutters. We love them in our room. Makes the room pitch black if you want even with full shining sun. Made of aluminum and also great for blocking winds and noise. Our house is definite warmer, especially our daughter's room which was always cold in winter. You could feel the draft before, now there is no draft.

The cost for all these windows included installation and painting etc.

You must however wait since they are custom made from Germany. "Great things come to those who wait" definitely well worth the wait.

We are so glad to choose the passive windows. Thanks, Reiner, for your professionalism and honesty ( something that is seriously lacking in this renovation industry.)

I do NOT recommend doing renovation without Reiner advice. He is more than a coach. He will make any renovation a peace of mind. We had done a major third floor addition. Needless to say his involvement was critical to make it feasible.

Again thanks for the windows.

New windows

I recently bought an old Victorian in desperate need of new windows. Reiner recommended Passive House windows, and they're fantastic. They're extremely durable and amazingly airtight, with triple glazing and impressive hardware. They really are German engineering at its best. They're also very easy to use with both tilt and turn options. In terms of pricing, they're on par with high end Canadian thermal windows, but you get so much more in terms of insulation, construction, and materials from Passive House windows. They also look beautiful, and you have the option to paint them. I thoroughly recommend Passive House windows! They’re an excellent long-term investment.
