This is the most unprofessional company we have ever dealt with. As soon as we hired them, we had demands made to us about extra charges. If at least the work was good. Some of the deficiencies in their work included: left metal hanging through the drywall, uneven reveals, seams showing through, crooked corners….. We incurred additional costs of ~$15,000 dealing with the issues created by DrywallTaping. They refused to show us a receipt when we questioned if the correct amount of soundproofing material was used. We had to call the police to seek their help in stopping the harassment from John. Our experience with this company was very unpleasant. We can’t explain the positive reviews posted on homestar, Our experience was the complete opposite.

I am a general contractor for over 20 years in Toronto. I tried to work with many subcontractors and was never completely satisfied. However the team of Drywalltaping.ca surprised me with the speed of work and final results. The job was done a week faster then was initially planned.
Highly recommend. Will definitely hire them for my next projects.

I live in a townhouse in which the wall between me and my neighbour was so poorly designed that I could easily hear their conversation, the crying of their child, and the barking of their dog. I looked for a long time for a soundproofing contractor and I am so happy I found this company. Its president, John Galaman, came over, took the time to fully understand the problem, and then sent me a proposed solution. They have a full spectrum of soundproofing solutions, and based on how they combine them, they can achieve very high STC ratings. The people they use are highly professional; they came on time and made sure dirt and dust are contained, and they even sent a cleaning crew after the job was finished. They did exactly what they promised to do and it took them exactly as long as they estimated. I cannot hear anything through the wall anymore, even when I press my ear against it :-)

DrywallTaping did an outstanding job, with a professional team and flawless work. I was particularly pleased with the way John walked me through the project plans, patiently answering all my questions and always making sure that everything was clear and agreed to before going ahead. They definitely made sure I would be getting exactly what I was looking for. Thumbs up for the amazing work.

I am extremely pleased with the work John and his team did on my 2nd floor renovation. The whole crew was professional, always on time, and perfectionist in all their tasks. The final product left me with absolutely no complaints and I would definitely recommend them to anyone looking for a job well done.

John and his team have done an excellent job drywalling and taping our complete basement overhaul project. We were pleasantly surprises at how clean their work area was at all times. They took great care sealing off our living premises, used floor protection in the part of the house used to bring in the materials. Strongly recommend his company!
