We used Yury for the retrofit style replacement of 11 windows in our 100+ year old home in Cabbagetown. His price was good and Yury was always easy to get a hold of. The windows themselves were installed 1 week ahead of the originally quoted time and have made a huge improvement to the comfort inside our home.

One issue did come up during the process, as we had ordered our street facing windows to be black on the outside. When they arrived, the main frame was black, but the exterior facing sash, which while set back a bit from the front of the window was still visible, was white, contrary to our expectations. I don't think this was do to any mistake or malice, just a miscommunication between myself and Yury. Once I brought this to Yury's attention he promptly took it up with the manufacturer and had new sashes produced and installed within 2 weeks. So while it was a bit of a hiccup, I was extremely impressed with Yury's professionalism and follow up to ensure I was happy with the job. I would not hesitate to recommend him to anyone else looking for windows.

After spending 3 years researching several companies, obtaining quotes etc I stumbled across Omega Windows. My father had a few windows replaced in his home; I asked for the name and number of the company and that is how I met Yuri. (Let me also say that my father was very happy with his windows as well).

Yuri met with my husband and myself, and provided us with a quote. Initially, we had only intended on replacing a few windows BUT because his quote was incredibly amazing, we decided the best thing to do was to replace all windows at the same time.

6 weeks later our windows are installed, the whole house, in 1 day! Yuri and his team are extremely professional and productive!

I have referred Yuri and Omega to my friends and family, and I also recommend them to you!

I was concerned that the reviews on this site were faked but this is one is definitely real! Mike and Yury provided us with an excellent experience from beginning to end. The price was fantastic and because it was SO good (I know because I got a number of quotes) I thought that there had to be a catch - like on the quality - but no, the quality of the windows was beyond what I expected and the installation was flawless and fast! The installers were lovely and took such pride in their work.

I am over the moon with the job that they did. I was asked for a small, very reasonable deposit upon signing the contract and everything was explained thoroughly. I asked a thousand questions and they made sure that I understood everything completely, which I appreciated.

In addition, they said that the windows would be installed in four weeks and guess what, they were! I mean, what contractor delivers on time? Well, they do!

I will be using them to install a new door within the year and I would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone. Fantastic!

We had about 90% of the windows and doors in our 2-story (3-story at the back) house replaced by Omega Universal on May 12, 2015 (the other 10% is relatively new). Overall our experience with the company had been very positive, from start to finish.
First, the company offers very competitive pricing/value, but that was only the starting point. Based on our experience, what sets the company apart is the following.
• Pre-sale consultation – Yuri (principal of company) patiently walked us through the products, installation options, trade-offs, etc to help us to come up with informed decisions.
• Pre-installation preparation – Yuri carefully measured all windows and doors, not once, but twice in separate occasions to ensure correct dimensions.
• Installation scheduling – Yuri is accommodating and agreeable with any mutually convenient time. He would remind/confirm a day or two in advance of installation.
• Seasoned installation team of 3+ worked professionally and competently.
- Asked us for any pre-installation instructions and/or special requests
- No surprises with any windows and doors (exact size and style)
- High quality installation workmanship
- Window and door aluminum capping on the side was exceptionally well done
- No damages or even scratches to anything, inside or outside of the house

In summary, we were very impressed with everything delivered by Omega, so much as that my daughter’s 2-story house will have all windows and doors replaced by the same company in June 2015.

About a year ago, we decided to go with Omega Windows and Doors to replace 9 windows and a siding back door. We were amazed with the work and professional attitude of Yuri, Mike and the rest of the crew. Last night, we had a problem with our sliding door lock and so I called Yuri this morning. Hours (emphasis) later, both he and Mike are at my door step, with a smile and begin to work on the lock. It turns out that the lock shifted up, as a result of our repeated use and just needed an adjustment; all at no cost. To drive all the way to North Scarborough, only hours after our phone call shows the quality of customer service and dedication that Omega Windows & Doors holds itself to. I HIGHLY HIGHLY recommend if you are looking to replace your windows and doors to give Omega Windows & Doors a call. You will get a good deal and make a new friend instantly!

After doing a bit more research this time, we decided to go with the best according to ratings and reviews from Home Stars, we retained the services of Omega Windows and Doors.

We dealt with Yuri, who was professional, knowledgeable and very friendly. He was patient with our questions, and his product knowledge was excellent. When telling him what we wanted, he would give honest opinions and advice, which were not driven by a “salesman” like mentality.

After determining our needs, we placed an order for a front door – which looks incredible! – and three windows. He told us it would take 5 weeks in total when we place the order to obtain the final installation; what impressed me most was the fact that Yuri would call me every week or two to provide me with an update. Yuri, delivered with his time estimation for the final installation.

His installers were courteous and did an excellent job with the installations and the clean up job afterwards.

Overall, I would have to say my only regret is not getting my four other windows I replaced last fall with him.

We both highly recommend Omega Windows and Doors, and I would tell any shopper out there to go with them as they will not be disappointed.
