Since moving to our new house 4 years ago I developed severe respiratory problems that were getting progressively worse. Sean responded promptly to my narrow timeline and he and Marnie did a thorough job addressing my areas of concern and making appropriate recommendations. Fixing even just a couple of problems in the 2 weeks since he came has already improved my breathing. A great job and I would use/recommend him for all future house inspections.

I found Sean through a Google search, and then through Homestars and another consumer review site.

Sean was upfront with his fees and availability, and provided a clear, easy-to-understand contract. He was punctual, professional and thorough with his onsite inspection. The inspection took longer than average, but I appreciate the extra time he took to inspect every aspect of the house. He was also quick to turnaround his report so we could lift the conditions on our purchase.

Finally, we also really appreciate his timely follow-up, including his openness to answering questions. The thank-you card we received in the mail was a nice touch.

I wouldn't hesitate to refer Sean to family and friends, especially when he is willing to stand behind the work he does by putting his name on it.

We contracted Sean for a condo inspection in the West End, this was our first condo purchase, moving from a house so of course there are things that you look for in a condo inspection that differ from a home inspection. Sean was fantastic, he was professional, thorough and answered all of our questions. He was able to give us some great advise with things to be cautious of and with the items that were found give us a ‘must do, should do and nice to do’ list giving us a realistic expectation of possible upcoming expenses. We knew that having all the questions answered we could move forward with our purchase without worrying about unpleasant surprises on the horizon.

You will not find a better home inspector!! Great guy, has a passion for his work. Thorough, knowledgeable, honest with utmost integrity. I wish we had found Sean earlier - two of our adult children had home inspections last year with another inspector and they were ok, but Sean's inspection and detailed report stands head and shoulders above anything else we have seen.
Sean arrived early, spent over 5 hours, pointed out all kinds of helpful information during the inspection, went the extra mile to check everything and point out the serious and the not so serious issues. Hi report is incredible and includes dozens of photos that display his findings. After the inspection, he continued to help us by checking out and helping us get a geotechnical engineer to inspect the slopes near the property. Every once in a while you are lucky enough to find a true professional that gives great value. That is how we felt with Sean.

We hired Sean 3 times over the past year to inspect prospective purchases. It was a very good investment, as he (twice) saved us from investing in questionable properties by discovering a multitude of hidden and potentially costly problems. He performed a thorough inspection (over 5 hours) in each case and supplied a very detailed report, which we will use extensively in our reno and maintenance plans.
We would certainly recommend him to any prospective buyer.
