Jimmy did not just build a deck! He built some brilliant art form and statement piece! This buzz around the neighbourhood, brings a constant stream of observers to my backyard. Layman or expert, the consensus is that my deck is a thing of sheer beauty and outstanding craftsmanship.

As construction ensued, I watched transfixed while the Churchville Contractors paid the greatest of attention to the minutest of details. Superbly charismatic in their professionalism, quietly obliging in their readiness to pause and address my queries or concerns.

Jimmy you have made one old teacher truly happy. My heart swells with pride, fit to burst at your accomplishments thus far. And as you well know, I will be back for the creation of another masterpiece. See you next year, Jimmy!

Bottom line: this was the most positive experience with a contractor my husband and I have ever had (and we've been through several over the last 5 years, to the tune of about $75,000). There's no question Jimmy at Churchville will be the first phone call we make when we want to make our next project a reality.

You can expect the following from Jimmy and his team (Marc and Dave worked our job): honesty; integrity; efficiency of communication (you can expect a phone call or text back from Jimmy - in his pleasant, polite, easy going manner - within minutes to several hours ... imagine that from a contractor!); punctuality; cleanliness; flexibility (with dates, design - at any point in the process - etc.); precision; a high level of craftsmanship and pride in the end product (i.e. work of a quality you would expect if the job was being done on their own home).

Get this: regardless of whether or not it was raining in the morning, the workers showed up every morning to get the job done. If it began raining during the day, at any point, they did not simply pack up and leave - they waited it out, and began working again when the rain stopped!).

At this point, I feel like I'm gushing, and if I keep going with all the positive things there are to say about Jimmy and Churchville, this review may not be believed to be real!

Seriously, don't look further. Call Churchville.

Oh, and I highly recommend watching Darryl on Demo Day - it is quite a site to see (he worked alone at demolishing our old deck, and he literally lifted one quarter of our entire old deck and put it in the bin himself!).

I had Churchville Contracting recommended to me a few years back. They originally built me a deck and fence, so when it came to renovating my bathroom, I had Churchville come back for a consultation. Although they were not the cheapest company, their price was still competitive. I felt comfortable hiring them, as I knew the quality and professionalism I would receive.

No part of the process was rushed through. Each of the tradesmen were very meticulous, and the finished project looks amazing.

My wife, kids and I are very happy with our bathroom, and we are hoping to have our kitchen renovated sooner rather than later.

Our front pergola was in need of repair. Called Jimmy at Churchville to get a quote. He responded promptly, set up a time to come by and review and then provided a quote. Jimmy was knowledgeable and had good suggestions on what type of product to use for exterior applications that can stand the test of time and the elements. The team replaced 6 posts and associated railings, along with painting all the posts and pergola structure. We also went with a slightly different post design than the original ones which was easily accommodated. Jimmy was good at communicating status of project, and any changes in schedule. Given our tough summer, weather wise, we had to accommodate schedule changes due to weather. The team did an excellent job and the end result looks great. They even made sure to do it right as the old posts weren't even secured, so they made sure to use saddles embedded into the concrete to secure the posts. A nice touch to make sure it was done the way I would of expected it to be done. Would recommend Churchville for any landscape carpentry work.

I would like to thank Jimmy and his incredible team of dedicated professionals for the wonderful work
they have done in my garden. The ice storm of 2013 had destroyed my shed and my grapevine trellis. The shed was replaced easily enough, but my grapevines needed special attention. Jimmy suggested a pergola, but went out of his way to customize the shape to accommodate a window, and to work within my budget without compromising quality. Sentimental in value, my grapevines were spared despite their proximity to the heavy work ahead. The work was done quickly, all my concerns were addressed with urgency, the team was respectful and polite, and Jimmy made sure to follow up after the work was done. True professionals. My garden is now an oasis and I will not hesitate to refer or call Churchville Contracting again in the future.

If there is a better contractor out there, I would very much doubt it. This past April I called Jimmy to give me a quote on removing our old deck and building a new cedar one. At every step he and his crew simply could not have done a better job. The final product was quite simply a work of art. He met every timeline, beginning with the initial meeting, to final evening spent installing the lights on the deck. His crew was professional, friendly, and incredibly hard working. There was not one single aspect of the project that my wife or I were not completely happy with. He even made changes (at our request) as we moved towards the completion of the project. If you are planning on building a deck, or any project for that matter I can not recommend any more strongly then Chruchville Contracting.

We called to get a quote for a pergola in our backyard but did not know exactly where to put it or how big to make it. Jimmy had excellent ideas about where to place it, how big to make it and the design of the pergola. He was reliable, professional and very helpful with great ideas. The quality of his work is excellent. We will definitely recommend him to everyone and will call him again for other projects in the future.

My husband and I built a new deck in our back yard, by the time we got to finishing our deck, we decided to call in the professionals. They were incredibly quick, without sacrificing quality. There was one seem I saw which was slightly off, and it was fixed before the job was done. They were very clean, and their finishing touches didn't go unnoticed by my husband and I. We can finally enjoy our deck!

I first heard of Churchville from Three Brothers Landscaping Inc. Jimmy and Mike were able to construct a new fence and move a section of the existing fence with ease. They were also incredibly professional and knowledgeable. We are hoping to use them on an upcoming project.
