Jessie stopped by for a quick assessment of our on demand hot water tank. We were getting periods of cold water during showering. He was friendly and polite made sure his work boots were covered and adhered to all the Covid 19 protocols. He gave helpful and appropriate advice and we will be adding our hot water tank maintenance on to our yearly HVAC service appointment. Very happy with all the staff at D & K and highly recommend them.

Mike always provides great service for our propane furnace and air conditioner. He is very reliable and knowledgeable, with many years of experience with heating and air conditioning. Highly recommend him.

When they converted my house from electric to oil heat, they installed a new furnace and duct work. To install the duct work, they cut out one of the main load bearing support headers and left it that way. This has caused my house to shift and the connection between walls and ceilings to be broken. How a company could do such a thing is beyond me. Obviously, D&K is interested only in short cuts and not in doing a proper installation job. I would highly advise that you avoid them like the plague and look for a company that has integrity.

I had to hire someone to come in, remove the duct work, install a new header support and then reinstall the duct work. Next, I have to hire someone to address the fact that the main floor of my house has fallen by more than an inch, thereby tearing the walls from the ceilings.

The pictures below show where they cut out the header and the gap between my wall and ceiling in the room above where they cut the header out.

My serviceman is mike vandervelde. Awesome gentleman. Very professional and honest. Explains what exactly is happening so we understood. We will always request he be the one to come to our home.

Mike was excellent. He described what he was doing and as well how to run the systems more effectively and efficiently.
He answered questions that I had and offered solutions.
He is very professional and courteous.
His knowledge and concern for customer service is an excellent example of the type of service individuals who make businesses successful.

My air conditioner was installed a year ago and Mike Vandervelde came in to do a first service on it, he was quick to realize that the furnace was very loud and address the issue, although he was there for the AC, he was very professional and patient and after tuning the furnace he went to the Air Conditioning unit and he cleaned it, he informed me that it was full of the white pollen fluff that floats in the air at times, this was preventing it from being 100% effective, he gave me a simple idea on how to prevent this problem in the future. he was very polite, professional, and knowledgeable and I would recommend him to anyone! The installers for this job were extremely friendly and very professional and did not complain once about my barking dogs the whole time they were here. The Installers were Dan Merifield, Tyler Kellar, Dustin Card and Nick McMaster. Very courteous guys.
