My air conditioner was installed a year ago and Mike Vandervelde came in to do a first service on it, he was quick to realize that the furnace was very loud and address the issue, although he was there for the AC, he was very professional and patient and after tuning the furnace he went to the Air Conditioning unit and he cleaned it, he informed me that it was full of the white pollen fluff that floats in the air at times, this was preventing it from being 100% effective, he gave me a simple idea on how to prevent this problem in the future. he was very polite, professional, and knowledgeable and I would recommend him to anyone! Another heating firm was contacted to carry out a cleaning service on my unit, they realized cracks in the heat exchanger and gave me an estimate on replacement, I was less than impressed by their approach and was informed it would be about a week to have it replaced (due to the cracks being found on a Friday). I contacted D&K and explained my situation, a rep was at my house on Saturday morning and the furnace was replaced on Monday, the receptionist, sales rep, and technicians were all extremely knowledgable and the installers also cleared up a number of issues which i had been living with since the last unit was installed. I am extremely happy with everything that was done!
