Control Air

Our hot water tank broke down and control air was one of the first company to get back to us. They were able to come quickly to assess our situation. We were quite confident we wanted a tankless water heater. Slawomir provided us with all the pros and cons of the tank/tankless water heater. He was suggesting we should go with the hot water tank. I was actually surprised because most of the other vendors were trying to sell us the tankless, though that was what we wanted anyways. But this guy was looking out for his customer and suggested what was best for the client. We had tonnes of questions and Slawomir took his time to address each of them. After much debate, we went with just the regular water tank. Installation was done within a few hours. Everything looks great. No mess was left. Pricing is competitive. We are extremely happy with Control Air and feel confident we made the right decision with the help of Slavomir.

I had been trying to find someone to fix the problems I'd been having with our tankless water heater for months. The pilot light had been going out on its own and I'd been resetting it almost everyday to obtain any hot water. I had two other reputable companies in to look at it, one who basically flipped a switch, charged us $150 dollars and then told us it was fixed (which it wasn't), and another who recommended ripping out the whole system and spending thousands of dollars on a new boiler.

Control Air identified that the machine simply hadn't been serviced properly in a few years, came and cleaned the sensor and flushed the system and we haven't had any problems since. They also added some valves that our system required which we hadn't realized.

They were fast, clean, and effectively identified and solved the problem. I'll definitely use them again.

Slavic (Control Air) saved the day. We had hired a GC to complete our basement renovation which included infloor heating throughout the house. However, our GC left our project mid-stream when they ran over budget and time. We hired a plumber to connect the infloor heating and create a manifold. After being operational for only one week, our boiler would routinely shut off and the plumber would not return our calls. Slavic was the only person willing to take on such a difficult job and the only person knowledgeable to take on such a job. He quickly and thoroughly assessed the situation offering important feedback. Only through his involvement were we able to fix the true problems with our heating system and restore heat to our house. It should not go unnoticed that Slavic came to our house on Christmas eve (emergency call to restore heat) and never missed an appointment. All of his budgets and time estimates were 100% accurate. Slavic is a true professional and a honest individual. For these reasons, we highly recommend him and Control Air.

I cannot be more satisfied with the service Slavik provided or recommend him more highly. Slavik is someone I trust wholeheartedly to do a job efficiently. The result of his work is that I know my heating system is working safely and properly.

Slavik and his crew installed a new hot water rad, tested the boiler, cleaned the boiler and got it functioning properly.

He responded to phone calls and e-mails promptly. He arrived when he said he would to give the estimate and to do the work. His bill for the work they did was more than expected but worth every cent as I know that our heating system works properly and we are safe.

I have known the worst in the business and now I know THE BEST!
(on June 28 2011 a previous contractor caused a flood in my basement resulting in payment of 1k deductible, 5k worth of damage and higher insurance premiums for the next 3 years)
