AllMax performed inspection on two detached houses around the greater Toronto area during our house hunting. Alan inspected the houses top-to-bottom with professional gadgets that fascinated us. He is dependable, knowledgeable, and very funny, making the inspection process a truly enjoyable tour. Along the way, he pointed out issues as well as those potential ones to be considered. He also educated us about where to start for fix and what the estimated cost would look like. After the inspection, he provided us a thorough inspection report to summarize the issues, with detailed explanations. This was my second time using AllMax to assist me with my home purchase. Once again, it was a great overall experience. I used the same inspector, Alan, as I did 9 years prior. AllMax (or Alan) is a perfect example of how Companies or people , when start getting (or got) good reviews become arrogant and rude and do not have decency to speak softly to a customer.

I got inspection done from Alan and although his inspection skills are good , his soft skills and dealing with people is horrible. Anybody can be good at home inspection but not everybody has decency to speak softly to customer , who is already under pressure when buying a home.

Any question I asked him , he snapped and even belittled me for asking that question. I don't want anybody to feel like what I felt. You are paying this guy for peace of mind and this guy is making fun of you asking question.

I would say , yeah sure go for him but if you want somebody not to belittle you and answer your questions when you are under pressure , then stay away !!!

Alan came on time and conducted the inspection very professionally . Following the inspection, he sat down and explained everything to me very carefully. I got the report in less than 24hrs.

The work requested was performed in a very proffessional and cordial way.

Alan literally saved us a lot of hassle and cost!!! we had purchased a property without an inspection since the house we were buying was fairly new (BIG MISTAKE!!!). However, during out last visit to the house we noticed a puddle of water on the basement floor and were suspecting a leak. We needed someone to come and look at the property ASAP since we were less than 2 weeks away from closing. Alan replied to our request right away, made himself available to come to the property later that week, and was punctual and very professional. He identified the source of the leak and was able to provide cost estimates on the spot. He also was ready to provide recommendations for companies to complete the job if needed. The issue was resolved before we took possession of the property and we couldnt be more thankful. Alan's fast and thorough inspection saved us a lot of hassle and cost. He was also incredibly reassuring through it all explaining everything to the smallest detail and answering the millions of questions we had. I am truly grateful to him! We were having a strange smell coming from are family room wall, we contacted Alan and he performed an air test. It ended up that we had mold. The results came back very quickly considering this was done during covid. Alan was very knowledgable and helpful throughout this ordeal.
