Interior Painting

Warline Painting is definitely a service quality company. We are extremely pleased with the interior painting work they did and have already recommended them to neighbours. The painting crew were professional, arrived on time, cleaned up at the end of each day and all got along well together as a team. Their work leader John kept us updated every step of the way and graciously accommodated a few extra requests we had. The initial visit and orientation by Warren and Tyler was what sold us on choosing Warline as they explained everything about the process in detail so we knew what to expect. Their colour consultant Heidi Their carpenter Jim was a surprise bonus as he repaired and improved a number of areas in our house that needed to be addressed before painting could begin and he did a wonderful job. The whole team was a joy to get to know. Thank you so much Warline for doing a terrific job! Donna & Robert Kantymir

Bathroom renovation

The guys at Warline were very professional, tidy and their work was amazing! They completely revamped my tired 70's bathroom oak cabinets with a new paint job and made them look brand new. I would not hesitate to recommend them or use them again for my next painting project.

kitchen cabinet painting

Been using homestars for reviews and thought I would add some myself.

Warren was easy to deal with and a very nice guy and his painter Luke was great. They took off the cabinet doors and sprayed them off site and painted the base cabinets onsite with brush and roller. They prepped them by sanding and cleaning, then priming and painting.

The base cabinets turned out great. Slightly textured but decent nonetheless. The doors turned out smooth and looked great as they were sprayed. Unfortunately, the durability wasn't the best. They primed with one of Inslx, oil based Kilz, or Zinnser Bin, can't remember which, and paint with iirc Benjamin Moore Advance paint. No clear coat finish. Warren had mentioned something about the clear coat finish being finicky in the drying/curing stage and they've moved away from it, or something along those lines. Over the next several months, we ended up with little chips and stains on several of the doors, which were more delicate that I expected.

We've sold that property several months ago and have moved on. In the future, if I were to upgrade cabinet doors, I'd probably just get them replaced rather than get the existing ones painted. And this isn't just getting them painted by Warline. I probably wouldn't get them painted by any company.

Hi KC,

I am really sorry to hear you are disappointed with the results of your painting and I wish you had contacted us because your results are not typical. It's more than likely this would have been covered under our warranty and we could have addressed the problems with your cabinets. I reviewed your file and checked the products we used. Although we didn't do a clear coat finish (which does increase durability but also the cost) we used a high end cabinet coat finish.

My guess, without seeing the cabinets, is there must have been a substrate issue. I saw in some correspondence we had with you during the process that there was some bleeding going on and we applied a extra coat of primer and paint to address this. That would also indicate that there was something going on with the substrate.

We take pride in our workmanship, customer service and excellent reputation. I assure you that if you had let us know about these issues we would have gotten to the bottom of what was causing the problem and found a solution.

It can be challenging to work with a surface that has been previously stained. Proper prep and priming is essential and we take all the steps to get the best end product. On a few occasions (like yours) a problem arises that requires finding a solution to get the desired results.

I hope in the future you will provide us with the opportunity to show you the extent in which we stand behind our product and company.

Townhouse interior and kitchen cabinets painted

I had my whole townhouse re-painted; all trim, interior walls, and the kitchen cabinets. Warline was the most expensive quote but I chose them because of their far superior pre-sales effort.
The various crews that came to my house were professional, courteous and pleasant to have around.

Interior Painting ($4,803.75): Different crews were assigned to different rooms. The crew that painted the main bedroom and the living room did a superb job whereas the crew that painted the landing and the kitchen had some issues with the cutting. I am pleased to report Luke has subsequently touched up the cutting perfectly. Luke takes great pride in his work and can be relied on to do an excellent job.

Kitchen Cabinet ($4,441.50): The old oak cabinets were painted with Benjamin Moore Cloud White which provides a lovely bright update to a previously dreary kitchen. Oak will show the grain a lot more than other types of wood after painting . Overall, the kitchen looks light and bright and way better than it did before!

Exterior House Painting

I am not one to typically write reviews but I was so happy with the work that Warline Painting had done, they completely exceeded my expectations. Heidi helped us so much with all the decisions that go with an exterior renovation (window, gutter and flashing colour, house and trim colour, door and garage.....) to ensure that everything came together and it looks AMAZING. I have had many paint jobs over the years inside and out and by far this is the best. The painters were meticulous, polite and the clean up everyday gave the kids back their space. Heidi and Warren were so great to work with. I highly recommend choosing Warline Painting.

Interior painting

My experience with Warline Painting and the results they delivered have earned them a very positive review. From the detailed quote I received from Warren to the colour consultation from Heidi (which actually saved me money by changing my mind on the need to change my flooring) right through the professional performance of Matthew and his crew, I felt I received excellent service and value for money spent. The work performed was the painting of my entire interior and required substantial wall rehabilitation and prep work, so it was done over a period of a few days, and I was impressed by the professionalism of the crew and the respect they showed my home while it served as their work place. When the job was completed, a thorough follow up was done to ensure my satisfaction with the job, and I was left very happy with the entire experience. I would recommend without hesitation that you consider Warline Painting for your painting needs.

Interior painting

I fully recommend this company; you will not be disappointed. They are perfectionists. I had requested quotes from four top rated firms to paint the interior of my year old townhouse. While all the prices were all fairly close, I chose Warline because of their payment terms (deposit not required); the work being done by their own employees; their ability to complete the job within a reasonable time frame (used four well experienced painters); and having a certified colour consultant to assist with colour choices. Warren, the owner, brought the foreman to my home the day before to brief him on the job and in addition, attended the site daily to ensure all was as it should be. Some of my colours were challenging – the red wall required six coats and most of the other walls needed three coats. Despite that, Warline honoured their price and did not ask for an adjustment. The fellows doing the work were hardworking, pleasant and polite. My furniture (which I needed them to move), was done carefully and protected during the painting. Everyone who has come to my home since has commented on the excellent job they did. Without hesitation I would happily use them again. Warline is truly a professional firm.

exterior painting of our house

It was time to change our peach colored Tudor-style house to something more traditional. Warren came and provided information, an estimate and addresses of projects that the company had done or were in progress. We visited the projects, beautiful! Heidi discussed color selection and it is very helpful to have another knowledgeable person give suggestions. When it came time to actually have the work done, it was done in an efficient, careful manner with attention to detail. We are very happy with the results and plan to have our interior painting done by Warline.
