I've been in the Canadian Armed Forces for 25+ years so I've met and worked with hundreds of different people. Greg is, by far, one of the most professional and personable individuals I've ever met. My wife needed some immediate help after our garage door was damaged. Greg came over quickly and spent over an hour (at no cost) getting our door working manually until a replacement could be chosen. Greg provided many different replacement door options, made sure we were extremely well informed, and regularly kept us up to date on the status of the new door purchase. His workmanship is excellent and I would unreservedly recommend him to anyone.

Our family recently moved from Toronto to Ottawa, so we have experience installing two garage doors at two different houses in less than a year, which makes us unsuspecting experts. We have had amazing service from Garage Door Depot in Toronto and Ottawa, but the service in our nation's capital was absolutely second to none.
Our door is the strongest, most insulated and most durable we have ever seen.
Our motor is whisper quiet.
The design is modern, crisp and clean.
The price is absolutely reasonable and fair for the quality of product and service.
But what stands out most was the incredible service.
Greg (and his dog Dodger) was warm and friendly, communicative and helpful, affable and accommodating, and thoughtful beyond compare. He talked us through our choices, guided us with respect and was an absolute dream with our toddler daughter who he apprenticed throughout the installation. To top things off, he will be installing our old garage door, free of a charge, to someone on veteran's assistance. That is a quality of person that you don't encounter every day.

FANTASTIC from start to finish! Greg Darby did a great job on the installation of my LiftMaster 8550W garage door opener. Greg even went above and beyond when he noticed that my light socket was loose and offered to fix it while he was up on his ladder; it wasn't part of the job or contract, but Greg offers SUPERB customer service. He is the one I will call from now on for all my garage door repairs or purchases. His son Tyler was helping Greg and he is as hardworking as his dad. Thanks Greg and Tyler! You guys are great!

By the way, the LiftMaster 8550W is truly a great garage door opener, just like Greg said. I'm glad I took his advice. It is very quiet and I got it connected to my Iphone in a few easy minutes; just follow the instructions ;)

We had a gentleman named Greg come out to do the job. He showed up on time, he did the job and cleaned up all the extra garbage after the job. He went out of his way on a Saturday to take the time to give us very helpful tips for future issues as the product ages and issues that could arise. He refused to take a tip. Instead we donated food to the needy for him. A very polite, down to earth, excellent, professional worker!! I will definitely recommend him to anyone I know that could use his services. Excellent value for money. We were able to upgrade the insulation, incorporate windows and a nice embossed finish for the same prince as competitors. Greg walked us through and offered lots of options from real projects which really helped in the final decision. No pressure. Professional and courteous.
