air conditioner

June 2013 we knew our AC wasn't working because of the summer of 2012. We called Kesavan (hvac consultant)and he came right away with quotes and to the point what he recommend (I liked that). Within a week we had our ac running before the heat wave thank you. PK has terrific customer service. He cared about us by following up if we had any problems so he could resolve them quickly.

Replacement of furnace

Let me just say that I am so happy with the overall service you and your team provided. Adam was a sweet heart (sorry I can’t remember the other gentleman’s name…He was nice too) – and I LOVED the fact that you all were willing not to install a part that I didn’t need. I value your work ethic of saving the customer money.
But honestly when I opened my mail and saw that you printed out and sent me the rebate papers I was just blown away.
I really feel that you care for the welfare of my family and I thank you. I wish every contractor I’ve hired was like you.

New Amana 60000 furnace

I had used convertible for service work on my furnace once in the past so when the time came that I had problems again I decided to call them up. My old furnace was almost 14 years old and I knew it was coming to the end of its life. The service technician was very helpful in describing the problem. He"temporarily" fixed the problem and explained that it wouldn't be a permanent fix due to a faulty part. He gave me a rough estimate on the cost of a replacement part and, when asked, was able to call his boss and get me some quotes on replacing the unit all together. I decided to replace the unit so, after checking out some price comparisons, they immediately scheduled me in for two days later which was "my" earliest convenience. Everyone who I dealt with was clean, courteous and very professional. Once done the company helps with any government rebate programs available. Look no further. Call convertible.

Furnace "repair"

We came home to a freezing cold house after the fall temperatures dropped this weekend and had no idea why our furnace wasn't kicking on. We are new homeowners with a practically brand-new furnace (2010) and the unit was working fine last winter, so we were stumped. On top of that, the local dealer who originally installed the furnace had gone bankrupt, so we had to find another local dealer through the manufacturer's website, and Convertible Air was one of them.

Before even asking me where we lived or telling me what their availability was like for service calls, the gentleman I spoke to at Convertible tried to solve our problem over the phone by going through simple trouble-shooting first, like suggesting to check the battery in the thermostat OR making sure the "light switch" (found on the ceiling) in the furnace room/near the furnace was on. This was a switch that seemed to "go nowhere" and had accidentally been switched off during our washer/dryer installation - so as soon as we switched that back on,...ta da!!!! We now have heat! And, thanks to the thoughtful and kind advice from Convertible Air, NO unnecessary service-call fee to pay!!

Thank you again, Convertible - you made this young couple's day!!

I've used the services of Convertible for many years now. Marnie and her team are so professional and courteous every time. They treat us like VIPs. They will make it right no matter what and we really appreciate it. I highly recommend this family based business! (I'm not sure if my approx. cost is accurate above but I know we got a great rate!)

New furnace

I called and spoke to Grant regarding a problem with our furnace. He was amazing. Provided me with information and questions to ask my Enbridge sales rep. The difference in cost between the exact two furnaces was almost $5,000.!!!!! The workers arrived 1/2 before their planned time and finished within the 4 hours suggested. They explained as they installed and cleaned up. This company gives the WOW factor.

Air Conditioner & Furnace

The initial appointment did not take place as planned, due to the rep running late, normally, I would not consider rescheduling, but he must have caught me on a good day, so I did, and got another rep Sean, who came and quoted.

The quote was middle of the road, but what impressed me was the professional, but laid back style, which I liked, and he did not make the mistake of trying to sell to me with fancy colorful brochures, he answered questions fully and clearly, and it was a non-pressurized sales talk.

Adam and his installation team were excellent, arrived on time, carrying out a clean and efficient installation. They took great care covering walkways to remove the old furnace and bring in the new, and this was after they were told the carpet was due to be cleaned.

There was a slight problem with the setup of my system, which could not have been foreseen and it was agreed that someone would return at a later date to rectify this, it did not affect the immediate working of the system. I put the boxing gloves on prepared for a tough fight, a contractor returning to finish a job is not a common thing, however, they contacted me, so they could come and finish the job and did so without me having to chase them.

Marnie, Sean and the office team were great with the after sales check-in making sure I knew to register the system for warranty and for relevant OPA refund claims.

As great as they were I would prefer not to have them back anytime soon (smile), but all-told, from a simple flyer I found a great company to install my furnace and I would certainly recommend them to my mother, and if I do that, you know they are good so to anyone looking for a furnace or AC, save time contact them first.

Best decision I made!!

Installation of New Furnace

I was very impressed with our experience with Convertible Heating from start to finish. Marnie was very pleasant to deal with and very knowledgeable. The guys who did the installation - Brandon and Josh - were amazing. They arrived promptly, were efficient and clean with their work, very friendly, and explained everything thoroughly. I would highly recommend them.
