Of the 3 quotes I got for Central Air installation, only Marni from Convertible Heating and Air told me about the Gov rebate program. She also gave me the best price quote. The first instal went well but there were many problems with the A/C and I was not happy. Marni sent another installer Adam, and he and his partner did a complete reinstall and I am very satisfied. And Convertible Air did all the paperwork for my rebate, I just had to mail it in. Convertible Air made it right at their own expense without being difficult about it. They were on time, all very friendly, cleaned up after, they went the extra mile, and they had the best price.

My wife and I wanted to replace our 23 years old furnace and 18 years old A/C before they break down on us. At the same time, we wanted take advantage of the rebates from OPA and Enbridge Community Energy Conservation Program. It is time to replace our furnace and A/C unit!! We have done a lot of research and invited companies for quotes, and no other companies can match what Convertible Air offered. They gave us a very competitive price for a top brand furnace and A/C unit.

Overall, it was a very smooth process. From discussing different options with Sam on the phone, having Sean over our house for consultation and measurement, and having Dieter (not Peter) for installation. I have to say Sean is very knowledgeable and honest, unlike other sales representatives who tried to sell us unnecessary things, Sean told us exactly what we needed. Our installer, Dieter, is amazing as well, he came to our house at 7am only to find out our A/C supply line was too small, Dieter advised us to replace the supply line because not having the correct line size will significantly affect the efficiency and the useful life of the A/C unit. My wife and I appreciated his honesty, Dieter could have just used the improper supply line and finished the job earlier but he stayed for the entire day to replace the supply line free of charge and to ensure the installation is perfect. We were extremely impressed with the installation service. The entire installation process was very smooth. Thank you Sam, Sean, and Dieter for all your hardwork =)

Convertible Heating and Air Condition is a company I would recommend to anyone. The consultation was very good and it was quite easy for me to choose a furnace. I am very pleased with the whole installation. Kemar did a wonderful job. He was very detailed in explaining to me what he did. He showed me how to take care of the filters for both the furnace and humidifier. Everyone who visited my home always commented on how hot the water is and I have no idea why. After explaining all about the furnace Kemar asked if my hot water is very hot and I said yes. He immediately showed me why and explained how I can make the adjustment on the hot water tank to keep the water at a good temperature and to save energy. I am very pleased with this young man skills and abilities. Thanks for sending such capable worker to install my new furnace.

Contacted Chris Amodeo who promptly set up an appt and was at my home to survey the furnace within 2 days. He had his installer, Kumar, come by the following day to check out the ductwork. Both men were very professional and friendly giving me lots of info about the best solution for our furnace dilemma.
Chris gave me a quote which turned out to be the best price out of the 4 companies I had offers from.
He set up an installation date for the following week. Kumar and his assistant showed up on time and worked without delay. They were finished promptly and cleaned up any mess they had created. True professionals!
