The Home Professionals No Longer In Business

Signed up for one of those deals for eavestrough cleaning and was pleasantly surprised. From the moment I called to book my appointment, to getting a call the day before, to Nathan (the young gentleman that did the actual cleaning) arriving at our door the first thing in the morning, I have nothing but positive things to say.

He did laugh when I mentioned I wanted to get my eavestroughs replaced (it's in pretty rough shape) and provided an estimate for me after the cleaning. I was not put under pressure to make a decision on the spot which I appreciated and will be figuring out the finances to see if we can complete this job this year.

I know there has been some avearage to less than average reviews, but overall I was happy with our experience with Home Pro Exteriors.

We contacted Home Pro after spotting a deal on eavestrough cleaning. & ‘free’ roof inspection. Also we were very happy to hear they clean windows too for a minimal cost.
Tori arrived on time and did a great job doing the task he was hired to do BUT....he inspected the roof and advised that 1) An animal chewed thru the plastic roof vents which created a hole in the vents 2) We required new vents with animal proofing ($800) 4) Advised the attic had mould and mould spray (?) can be applied to the wood 4) Water was leaking into the attic 5) Our attic insulation needed to be replaced. Stated he could fix all of it right at that moment for $4,000. If we did not do this today the price could increase because he would have to travel back to the house again (Pressure sales) Because I am a strong believer in obtaining a 2nd or 3rd opinion, we did not take up the offer.
After careful review from more than 2 roofers it turned out Home Pro Exteriors was incorrect. There was no damage to the roof vents, no evidence of squirrels chewing through the vent at all or being in the attic. No mould. No damaging water stains/leaks. The insulation was fine. I DO NOT recommend this company at all.

Roof repair completed within one day. New shingles and two fans added. Job was good. No leaks yet. Satisfied with the service. Make sure you shop around before you commit to a job as estimate can change as the job progresses.

The weather was pretty bad but Homepro still sent their man to fix the hole in the roof and the clogged downspout. He actually had to stop because the wind became too strong but despite the rain and the wind the guy completed the job. Thanks Scott!!
