Stone Design gave me a wait of 3 weeks from the time I had my sink received in order to do the measurements. The day before the scheduled date, I am informed that it will take place the next morning between 6:00 am. and 8:00 am. with no other alternatives. (Please note that the location of installation is not my personal residence). The best Stone Design could do was to reschedule the measuring session another 3 weeks later plus an additional month for installation. They were very quick in letting me know that it was my fault.

Well great if its for government where no one cares how much things cost. Prices are 30%+ higher than everywhere else. And the communication, even poorer, they tell you everything you want to hear.

We chose Stone Design Concepts because their showroom staff is very knowledgeable and professional. Everything is well organized. Karina, showroom manager, from Stone Design Concepts was very nice and patient with us. I changed my mind regarding the choice of the slabs a few times. She gave us sincere advice and suggestions. However, due to a small communication issue, the sink size was not what I expected. The company promptly responded to our complain and fixed the issue within two weeks. The installation team is friendly and their installation is very quick and on time. What impressed me the most is their ability to handle issues. I mean things could go wrong with any granite shop, but this company really cares about their customer and they did extra work to make sure we are 100% happy. Ed from the production team took care of us and provided professional suggestions regarding how to fix the issues. He did not choose an easy way or a shortcut to fix the issues, instead, he suggested the right way which required a lot more efforts from the production team. I will definitely recommend this company to my friends. One suggestion: Make sure you specify your expectation for the sink hole size. Their current standard is to leave 3/8" overhang above the sink. If you want to have a flush cut, you will have to clearly communicate it and put it on the purchase order. Our countertop and island top look amazing! Stone Design Concepts has the same owners as Phoenix Homes. We had a granite counter top installed when we bought a townhouse from Phoenix and it was great so we decided to get a granite countertop for the vanity in the master bathroom when we moved.

We took advantage of the show special about a year ago and are very happy with the outcome! Their design centre consultant was excellent, we got to see and OK the slab before they cut it and their installers were right on time and did a good job. They use computerized lasers to measure the countertop's size so it was a perfect fit. They also offered a free sink and side/backsplash included in the price. However, we asked them to install a different sink that we ordered ourselves and they were very happy to do that for us as well. All in all, while this is not a "true" granite/quartz warehouse, if you like one of the dozen granite and quartz styles that are included in the show special they are good quality and a great deal! Highly recommended!

They were quick to have the installation completed on time and budget. Was a show special and very worthwhile. Good money investment. The counters were granite with a deep sink, all of it wonderful, and has lasted well. No issues with care. In and out quickly.
