They don't protect your home

Have had Securtek monitor my place for 11 years. I had a break in over the weekend. When I called the monitoring station to find out why I didn't receive a call, I was told that for some reason they have not picked up a signal from my land line since APR and it is NOV. I said " what?" I've been paying you to monitor, why didn't you notify the alarm company or myself? They said a manager would call, it's been 2 days and I don't expect to get a call. I would avoid this company, looking at the reviews I think it's best not to use them. Their customer service sucks and the one thing they are supposed to do, they failed me.

Awful

Yes, this is absolutely terrible. The smoke alarms keep going off every time the renter has a shower or even vacuums I tried to get out of it. They said I signed up four-year contract that was never disclosed to me. I absolutely hate it. It doesnt do anything it was just a waste of time and money. The guys that came to install it were nice gentleman but I dont think they know what theyre selling

WORSE ALARM COMPANY EVER

Please save your money and time and look elsewhere for alarm company as this is the worse company i ever dealt with if i ran a business like this i would bankrupt not sure how these guys are still operating

WORST EXPERIENCE

WORST EXPERIENCE. I CANCELLED AND DISCONNECTED THE SERVICES TWICE IN 8 MONTHS AND STILL GETTING THE BILLS. WHY THESE GUYS CANNOT CANCEL THE SERVICES WHEN WE DONOT NEED IT. I NEED TO KNOW WHERE I CAN COMPLAINT AGAINST THESE GUYS.

Security alarm

Too bad .. their customer service is too bad.
I called them for 5 times to request a stop for the service, but they kept take money out of my card even with confirmation emails saying that “the customer has requested to stop!” I called them for the last time ( #5) and said that I will talk to the police as you are taking my money without permission, and here where they refunded me and stopped the service finally. So stressful every month

Useless Customer Service and Service in General

I had been a customer of now SecureTek (it was something else before) for 10 years. The system malfunctioned on multiple occasions and they would not evaluate it unless I paid $150/hr for them to come take a look. Finally, after enough hassle, I opted to cancel my contract only find out that they had just renewed it (without any communication outside of the contract signed 10 years ago) and would charge me $1300 to cancel. Overall a company with very poor customer support. Stay away!

Unreliable..poor customer service

Between this company & the alarm company we have not had a properly working system in a year; repeated phone calls are not returned & now they threaten a collection agency since we stopped paying.

WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER

I pay 79.00 per month for this service that i have tried to cancel since early November 2021. I have called several times, always a voice mail, no one ever answers the phone. I have left several messages and no one ever calls back. I have also sent a half dozen emails to which one reply was received asking for specific documentation showing them i can cancel any time without issue. I replied back a few hours later with what they asked for and that was the end of it. No reply back from this person. Finally got a hold of someone yesterday and explained my situation and told her that I started this process in early November and that i am not paying for the service they keep doing for November and December as the messages and emails i have sent explain to them that i am cancelling effective immediately. The woman i Spoke to, Sharlene, is very patronizing and not pleasant to deal with. She tries telling me that there is still money owing from not paying throughout the year but would not be specific, I checked all my bank statements and they show paid, including the statement she sent me showing my payment history, all but November and December, and as I told her I am not paying for. If they keep the service going after I requested cancellation and provided documentation stating I can cancel any time without repercussion, it's on them. She doesn't listen to anything you say. Still waiting to hear back from her or someone of higher authority.

Terrible Customer Service

My contract is over and you keep charging me the same fees. I spoke with (Your Dealer) in April who stated that once the contract is done the fee for monitoring is CAD$ 24.00. The way you lay out your contract is disguising and misleading as though it is a 36 month contract with 3 months free while it is a 39 month contract. Sales gimmicks?? I spoke with Melanie 3 times and she disconnects the call all 3 times. I spoke with Shannon who also disconnects. They need a password I choose 3 years ago or access to the email I have on their file. If you don't have one of these they hold you ransom without canceling your service. No one until my 5th call was able to suggest an alternative method.(I spoke with Manpreet) I asked to speak with a Manager. 1st call was advised no manager available. Really? Second call with Melanie, I ask for a Manager since she said she has reviewed my account with management. The manager just stepped in for a meeting. Really?? I ask Shannon for an Ombudsman and states this is a crown company and disconnects. Manpreet refuses to give out a person's name in management or above management. I have the right to escalate. Jasmine (vice president, customer experience) Please read investigate and initiate a call back. This is the customer experience from your company.

very bad company

When I bought the store I found in internet this alarm company , one year was okay but second year they start wrong billing me . they start alarm
night time like 2 am 5 am 3 am every time they charge 175 dollars
