Started with a very clear and detailed explanation of process to be employed, time frame of project and costs, by the appraiser Keith.

Once in the shop, received call from shop floor manager who went through itemized checklist to ensure accuracy of the written estimate prior to starting.

Finally, the very friendly and professional company drivers, delivered the table on time, making sure it was wrapped in protective padding. They then unpacked the table very carefully, attached the legs adding new pads and together we analyzed the job to ensure our total satisfaction!

We were extremely pleased from beginning to end with the experience and wouldn’t hesitate to proudly recommend TMC Restoration to anyone with fine furniture that deserves a professional makeover!

The solid cherry dining room table was refinished to remove scratches and to make the colour and finish match a less shiny hutch. The end result was excellent. The chairs were re-upholstered (not refinished) and they now look amazing and more current. The workmanship and service were excellent.

TMC Restoration just re-upholstered my leather reclining sofa and 2 chairs. After being told it could not be done by others, I was glad I found TMC. They guaranteed their work, but the price was a bit too high, I still trusted them to do the work, which they did. YOU ALWAYS GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR anyway. They kept me up-to-date on the progress of the work and delivered before the promised time.

Before I took delivery of my set, they called me to tell me that it looked beautiful and I thought to myself, sure it looks beautiful, you just re-upholstered at a costly price, you're not going to tell me it looks awful.

However, when it was delivered to my home by two very professional and attentive men, my husband and I were truly surprised, my couch doesn't look re-upholstered, they have kept the integrity of the set and its now a brand new leather couch. We are very happy with the work and service received, yes I could have bought a cheaper less expensive set, but it wouldn't have been the one that I really wanted, like this one.

The work was very professional. I noticed one flaw, but I dont mind it, it looks like a measurement error

They made our furniture look and feel like new; we couldn't be happier! They finished the project before the date they had said, and delivered the newly restored couch and chairs a couple of days after it was ready.

Had Two large curio cabinets stripped and refinished. On the start to the finish we were kept up to date with phone calls and samples. Would highly recommend if anybody wants their high-end furniture done. Love the product. Thank you so much guys.

My chairs have never looked better. It is an old dining room suite and the chairs were very scarred. The seats were not very comfortable after sitting on them for a while. Now the new foam makes them very comfortable and the wood looks amazing. The price for the work seemed high but they look and feel like brand new chairs.

TMC Restoration did a fantastic job in restoring an old dining table for us.
This dining table was gifted to us by a friend almost 30 years ago when they had to leave the country. We used it for a couple of years and then had to put it in storage as we too were leaving the country to work in Asia.

When we returned almost five years ago the table was put in use again, but because of its dark colour and having dents and cracks here and there, I was thinking of getting rid of it. But my husband always had a love for it and wanted to have it restored.

We found TMC Restoration at their booth at the Stouffville Home Show. Robert, TMC's representative came to our house to inspect the table, and convinced us that it was made of high quality solid wood and definitely worthwhile to have it restored. Robert explained their meticulous restoration process in great detail, how TMC's workmanship and services stand out from other companies, so we decided to give the table a new life.

Tino, who is responsible for customer service was a delight to work with. He was very efficient in handling the logistics after the table was picked up. He opened our eyes to the true beauty of the table - its natural wood colour which is much lighter, and the grain which was never visible before due to the dark painted colour. What's more, Tino and his colleague Guy gave us valuable information on the type of wood that our dining table was made of, the characteristics of the wood, and its design style. It is reassuring that such information came from the TMC Restoration expert team.

The delivery team was also very helpful in the pick up, delivery as well as disassemble and reassemble of the table.

We are very very happy with the work that TMC Restoration has done. The dining table is now a centre piece in our dining room, and will definitely stay with us for many more years to come.

Everything was excellently done and I am very satisfied with the workmanship as well as with all who were involved.

We recently had a 5-piece sectional with massage reupholstered by TMC. The final result turned out fine but the steps to get there were very disappointing and unacceptable

- A 2-3 month job turned into 5 months

- A broken recliner pull handle which was pointed out in the original contract was not fixed when the piece was originally returned and it turned out that the part hadn’t even been ordered yet 2 weeks AFTER the section had been returned to TMC

- The corner section with the massage unit was delivered with the wires hidden so it was returned to TMC. A couple of weeks later the section was re-delivered with the assurance that the wires were exposed but, again, they were still hidden

- There was no proactive communication from TMC. We had to constantly chase them down to get updates on the job
