Meridian Windows & Doors (Alberta) Inc. No Longer In Business

Installation took them less than half an hour. I was very impressed with the efficiency. From quote to installation it was also very quick. Definitely recommending these guys to my friends. Thanks for another great job Meridian.

After a disappointing experience with a different Alberta window company, we found Meridian Windows. Within a day we met and got a great quote. Originally we only wanted to order windows but found doors as well. A bit over a month later our new beautiful windows and doors are properly installed and we just love them! Special requests from me were delt with and made come true without any hesitation. any new window and door we will need will be ordered here again!

We needed new windows and doors before the winter. Sergey came to my house, took measurements and we discussed price. He seemed a little irritated when I told him we didn't want to finance them and that I was going to speak to the bank. When we knew that we would be able to get the money to pay, I contacted Sergey again and he came back to my house. He double checked his measurements, told me that my windows would be about 6 weeks.
The day the workers showed up to the house, it was plus 30 degrees outside. They were quick & efficient, but they did not bring any water with them (which seems odd to me). I had no problem letting them have a flat of water that I put into one of my coolers with ice.
I understand that they had to cut my inside kitchen wall to get the window to fit, but they did it without letting me know or giving me the chance to move everything off my countertop. There was drywall & tile dust ALL over EVERYTHING that was on my counter and they left it like that!! There was NO attempt at ALL to clean ANY of it!!!!
My kitchen was not the only room that was left without them cleaning up THEIR mess! All of my bedrooms, the bathroom and my laundry room were also left messy.
By my back door there was also a mess left which included a broken off piece of BLADE from one of their knives!! I have 5 children that are always in bare feet going in and out of that door!!! VERY CARELESS and put my children at risk!!
My 2 fire escape windows downstairs were ordered or made the wrong size, I was told it would be 2 weeks to get them in and installed. I had to take down my 2 boys beds to move them out of the way for this installation. It took over a month for those 2 windows to come in! We had booked a date for them to come and put them in, and twice they NEVER SHOWED up, didn't even CALL to let me know they couldn't make it!!!
Needless to say, I was very angry at this point with everything and my boys were STILL sleeping on the floor. When I spoke to Sergey and told him everything, he came to my house. I had not cleaned up a lot of the mess they had left, and the stuff I did, I made sure to take pictures of. Sergey seemed very disappointed but there was NO compensation for ANYTHING in any way, shape or form!! All he said was his GP guys usually don't do this.
All my windows & doors are finally installed and so far I am satisfied with them. I am waiting until winter to make the final call on if I am completely satisfied with them, I think I am going to have issues with my front door letting in a draft (which I asked Sergey about also). Only time will tell. The doors & windows LOOK beautiful, so in that respect I am happy.
IF I recommended this company to a friend, I would also tell them about everything that I have written in this review.

After getting a quote from another company, I did some digging and read some reviews on HomeStars. Meridian stood out as having all good reviews. I thought this must be the best company to use and they sure did not disappoint! Andrey the sales person has a lot of insight and expertise. He discussed all the options and knows what will work for a specific job. Yuri and his team showed up on time and did a fantastic job installing all of the doors and windows. These guys are good! Professional installation, no damage to our house and a thorough cleanup! The company sells an amazing product and it looks great on our house! Thank you!

I can't say enough on how great this company is. Price was right. Yuri and Sergey were great installing our new windows. Professional, efficient, friendly and immaculate cleanup. Also had some cladding done and turned out really nice because of there great artistic ability. Would definitely use them again and recommend them to friends.

Arrived on time and completed work in a neat and professional manner. Able to answer questions and did required use training. Language was a bit of a barrio but we were able to overcome with a little effort.

Meridian windows were prompt in completing the installation soon after providing the estimate. Their doors were locally manufactured which cut out the shipping time, resulting in quick installation. The doors came pre-painted with quality construction and professional finish....We are pleased with the quality vs the price. The installers were professional and skilled with the installation. Service calls with making adjustments to doors was prompt, and friendly. The staff were patient and assured our complete satisfaction....which they delivered as promised.

I was pleasantly surprised by Meridian. They came to Red Deer for a quote, beat the competitors. They quoted us Installed the Window exactly when they said they would, and left the place looking better than when they came. They cleaned up after themselves, and their installers were very professional. We have and will recommend them to our friends.

This is second year I have used Meridian Windows. They have excellent customer service from choosing the windows to having them installed. They also have fantastic payment plans that have allowed me to upgrade all my main floor windows. My windows have added to the beauty of my home and have kept us comfortable all year round. Thank you for making this huge renovation such a simple one (again)!
