Action Windows & Doors No Longer In Business

worst service. seems sold me used repainted doors.
still waiting for storm capping. never showed up again. I left several calls and text messages.

i wish pay 500$ more and hire homedepot or lowes.

I had my 2 Masters room windows and a basement windows replaced by Action Windows and Doors last May 2008. From the time the company representative gave me the estimate including the timetable of the replacement was well executed. I like their professionalism and workmanship particularly Serge, he is great and a good asset for this company. The price was not cheap compared to the other supplier but the way they handle their business and likely will do good to us(customer). They even invited me to take a look at their facility to build my confidence and I truly believe in their action and gesture. I decided to give them a chance even in this small project and they showed to me the good side. I highly recommend this company. I am truly satisfied the way you do your job and I will again need your service for my remaining windows that needs to be replaced in the near future...Good job guys!!!

I was contacted by Action Windows & Doors by telephone and had them come to my home for a quote which they provided. I had specific requirements for the patio door which the salesman assured me would be met. I paid the down payment to him and had the salesman send me a picture of the finished product before he would come to install it. The door was not made the way I had asked it to be made. I asked him to either send me the down payment back or to provide me with a door with the right specifications. He refused both options and told me if I wanted the door (the one already made and NOT to my specifications),to send him the remaining balance owing. I refused and contacted a lawyer who sent a letter to Action Windows requesting my money back. There was no response to that letter. I and my lawyer have tried to telephone the company on numerous occasions but no one picks up the phone there. I would not recommend this company at all to my friends/family and am quite distressed at the loss of my money.

These people were good to work with over-all. Andrew worked with us to help figure out what to order. There was good communication with us from their office regarding the installation date. Then Serge and his partner came to install the windows. They were on time. Both men worked diligently non-stop for 12 hours. They did a first class installation because these window installers have years of experience. The windows are good quality and have an excellent warranty. There was never any need for concern. Price was fine. They cleaned up as well as can be expected. We have no regrets at all. We recommend Action Windows and Doors.

After doing a lot of research we were pleased to choose action windows to do the job. We bisected their factory showroom and were quit impressed with the operation .
The price was not the cheapest but we found very good value for their services.
The only down side was we had to wait 3 weeks for the windows to be installed. But it was worth the wait .

We received a number of quotes from other door companies but went with Action because we liked the salesman plus we visited their showroom where they had a number of door samples on display. The doors were installed within the promised time and the work was very good.

Really poor customer service. They screwed up bringing the incorrect door and refused to compansate and made us wait a week later.Not only did they didnt finish the job, but wanted the money for a uncompleted job?! Had a piece of wood cover in the front door for a week in the cold! Not only that they even put their company's sign up in front of our lawn, without our permission! WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE COMPANY EVER!!

When we moved into a drafty house, we thought we could live with it, but the banging of the window in its frame was keeping us up nights. We saw an Action sign on a neighbour's lawn, and called them in. Their price was more than fair -- when we told them we wanted to call around for quotes andwould get back to them, they wanted us to commit right then and dropped the price twice as we deliberated. In the end, we got 10 new windows that look better, save us money on heat and air conditioning, and best of all, are silent. It's such an affordable way to make a huge difference in the look and feel of a home. I'd definitely recommend Action.

we had to change the widows then in 2 of our bedrooms we wanted larger windos therfor we had to do wall cut out in the master bedroom and additional room

It's alwasys easy to remember the bad things in life - so, in retrospect I feel these guys deserve a good write-up. Better late than never.
2006 - Took a chance on them - not known at the time. Had a large bay window repalaced and patio door - Done properly, on time as promised and great workers. Cost was quite reasonable (we had comparisons).

2008 - New front door and side-light - Again, price was good and workmanship great. Done on date agreed upon. Actually, the door is even better looking than we imagined. Everything matches (trim etc).

I wont give them a 10 - rare even in Olympic gymnastics - but I think you get the point.
