Steve was very courteous by calling ahead to say he was going to be late. He did a great job and was very professional. He was friendly and also recommended ways to keep the air quality high in the house. I highly recommend these guys.

We booked The Duct Cleaning Specialists after reviewing their profile and the many positive reviews on HomeStars.com. I also reviewed the company's website and spoke with Paul on the phone who spent the time to explain exactly what they did and what they didn't do. Paul arrived at the time he had indicated (9am) and immediately went to work. I showed him where everything was and he explained everything in detail to me prior to starting any work. He explained where he would need to cut out holes in the duct work (first time the ducts were cleaned) and drew them out before cutting them. He was very professional and courteous and took his shoes off when walking throughout the house as we had requested. After everything was completed, he cleaned up after himself and completed the job in the time he mentioned to me (2-3 hours). I asked him about servicing the furnace and he said it was not necessary to service it just yet and just cleaned it by blowing the dust out. He saved us some money doing so. His recommendation was to get a service plan with the company who provides us gas as it would be slightly more expensive, but would come with a warranty for our furnace at the same time. So even though he offers the service, he advised us to something that was in our own best interest and not necessarily his best interest.

Overall, Paul was a delight to work with and I would highly recommend him and The Duct Cleaning Specialists!

Paul called to let me know he was delayed--which I appreciated. He and Steve were courteous (and handled our grumpy Jack Russell Terrier very competently!) and professional. He did a quick but careful assessment and showed me that a complete duct cleaning was not necessary--saving us money. Later that evening, Steve returned with a filter for our furnace humidifier which he installed--and which we greatly appreciated.

Our new but older home underwent some fairly large renovations resulting in just about every type of dust and airborne contaminant known to man. So we thought it would be wise to have our ducts cleaned to literally clear the air. After a few initial discussions with some less than reputable "fly-by-night" operations, we decided to book an appointment with the Duct Cleaning Specialists. They arrived on time and were the epitome of professionalism throughout the service call. Our technician explained every step of the process and took extreme care while in our home. We are now confident in the air we breathe and would highly recommend their services to any looking for this type of work.

Our town home is about five or six years old and the ducts had never been cleaned. It's something I've been meaning to have done for years. With all of the construction debris, shouldn't the ducts be cleaned prior to the closing of the sale? Anyway, needless to say, our house was always dusty.

As a pretty recent first time home owner, this was the first time that we called to have the ducts and furnace cleaned. Steve arrived early and first explained the qualifications and certifications of the company, Paul and himself before getting started on the job. He was very professional, personable and good with babies too. He did a wonderful and thorough job and even came back at another time to install a replacement humidifier filter. I would definitley recommend this company to anyone.

Paul came over to clean out my ducts as I had recently done two major renovations. He told me that before he starts any job he likes to do an inspection to ensure that the job is required. After explaining how the system works and how he's going to clean it out, he took off some pannels on the return vent in the furnace room and inspected the inside. He asked me to do the same. He also inspected vents on the ground and 3rd floor and determined that it wasn't worth my money to have the system cleaned yet. Instead he recommended I use my shop vac and call again in a few years time. He also gave me tips on how to resolve my low air flow problem and then disinfected the system. He wasn't over for more than 25 min but in the end all he asked was that I make a donation to some cause that is close to me. Professionals like Paul are hard to find. Honest people who love their work and offer fair prices to everyone deserve to be promoted. Thanks, Paul.

I just moved in August to new home with new dream.
I found some stressful and worry thing in the air flow system
through duct and furnace.
Mr. Paul arrived on time, and checked duct inside/not too bad
and suggested to be cleaned after 3 or more years.
He explained in details how to keep and clean.
He cleaned the dust inside furnace and dryer vent.
My impression is he is very honest and trustful with 100% customer satisfaction.
My stress is gone. My duct(Doctor) specialist will be beside me always!!!!!

Paul was very friendly and efficient in getting the job done. He walked us through the procedure and was more than happy to update us as he went about the job. The house felt so much better after the job was done, great value for money.

I had my dryer vent cleaned out several years ago and was never happy with the quality of the service. I called Paul because his company was so highly rated on Home Stars. He was punctual, professional and his service exceeded my expectations. Once the vent had been cleaned out, he made sure that the vent pipe was fully attached. He pointed out that the excess lint in my laundry room was the result of a gap at the top of the vent pipe and he fixed it! I recommeded him to my daughter and she was also very pleased with the quality of his work.
