Mr. Roof Repair was prompt in setting up their service call but the issue was misdiagnosed and wasn't corrected when they came back a month or so later, once I let them know the issue was continuing. My kitchen range hood vents through my attic and out the roof and there was water a very slowly developing water issue on the ceiling at the range hood. Mr. Roof Repair said the problem was a ripped shingle and they repaired it (they included photos in their report). The problem continued so they came back and said they added some caulking around the vent. The problem still continued so I reached out to another company who said from just seeing photos that it was the incorrect vent to begin with (existing one was a bathroom vent, not suitable for a range hood). This second company now replaced the vent with the larger vent and mentioned the shingle repair that was done before was just two shingles screwed together.

Mr. Roof repair did a great job. They worked on the 3 areas I asked for, and also found a couple other items that needed to be done. Cost was a slightly higher than I would have liked, but understandable given nature of the business and the turnaround time requested.

I will use them again for my next roofing project.

We contacted 4 companies provide a quote before we made a decision to hire Mr. Roof Repair to come and inspect our roof. In 2015, we had a brand new roof installed with CertainTeed Landmark Pro shingles, which are one of the best products. Unfortunately, the shingles on the front slope of our house were badly installed by the crew of the company we hired and as such are in need of replacement. Keep this in mind when choosing the brand of shingles as it's imperative that you find a reputable company who knows how to install them!
This is where Mr. Roof Repair comes in. Their crew performed a thorough inspection of the entire roof, soffits, venting and eavestrough. They determined the repairs that had to be done and made additional suggestions to other areas. The repairs are being scheduled and I will follow up with an additional review. Their attention to detail is impressive hence I'm certain the repairs will go very well. Thanks Julian and Team. Greatly appreciate the service thus far.

Bathroom ceiling was dripping water in high winds and rain. Mr Roof were quick to return my call and schedule someone to look at it. They had someone out within 48 hours. They found the source of the leak - and fixed it, on a temporary basis, is inside of 30 Minutes. They followed up with a recommendation and quote, for permanent repairs and a quote to do that.
I was most impressed by the repair report, there were about a dozen photos of the ‘before’ and ‘after’ repair, complete with a detailed explanation of what the problem was and what they did to address it, backed up by photos! I felt like I was there without having to climb up on the roof!

I recently contacted Mr. Roof for of an estimate of my leaky roof problem. They did a very thorough inspection and came up with three potential causes. Everyone I dealt with was very courteous, prompt and knowledgeable. I would definitely recommend them.

We engaged Mr Roof Repair in 2014 for a complete roof replacement along with eavestroughs. We thought they did a fine job until this year 2018 when by chance we won a drone in a raffle and flew it around our house. The sloped roof seemed fine but we were horrified by the state of our flat roof (see attached pictures). I asked a roofer working on a neighbours house to look at these pictures and he said 'It looks unfinished and even if it is finished it looks like garbage.' (Edit) After a month of calling and emailing an hour after I wrote this Homestars review I finally received a response from this company and we are currently attempting to work something out. I will update this review accordingly if my opinion changes however currently I would very much advise anybody to stay away there are so many other roofers.

An odd aside : this company claims they do not subcontract work out to other roofers however the roofers that came to our house gave us business cards and signed their correspondence with the name of another roofing company entirely

Julian and team are very professional. You heard many things about dealing with home repair companies but Mr. Roof Repair should be the exception to the norm. We were recommended by a friend and contacted them to get an assessment on our attic and roof. Booking the appointment was easy and Julian explained in details what was it will include. They had to change the appointment due to weather and they contacted up well ahead (a plus +++ for them). The day of the appointment, they arrived on time and explained the details. We got out assessment report 3 days after and had a visit to discuss the results and next steps with Andre. He was running late due to traffic and even had the courtesy to call us to advise. He explained all the results of the assessment and next steps (repairs, replacement, cost, timing, etc.). One important aspect to highlight from Mr. Roof Repair is that they do not try to replace your roof, plywood, etc. as first option - which generates more business for them - but provides a recommendation to repair and keep what is currently working and replace what is not. That helps you decide what is the best option for you. We've scheduled the work for late October. I will be providing updates by then. So far, we were very impressed by the professionalism of Julian, Andre and team. Well done!

We had a leak in our roof. MrRoof promptly sent out two men to look at our issue. They found that some caulking needed to be replaced and did so. They informed me that the rest of the roof was in great shape and could not see any other issues. They downgraded the call to an assessment. Unfortunately, the roof has continued to leak though.
