Red Robin Masonry

Got 5 different quotes to partially rebuild and aged chimney, Red robin came in at the best price for pretty much the same amount of work that all the other companies would've done. On time and great communication. Would highly recommend.

I contacted Red Robin Masonry in addition to two other contractors. When they arrived at the house, they pointed out issues I hadn't noticed, and they did this in a way without making me feel pressured. They also suggested economical and logical ways of doing things particularly in areas of the foundation which were not readily seen from the front of the house. The workmen arrived on time, and were very pleasant to do with, they even added in some extra tuck pointing that they noticed could be done, since he had left over material. Great company, and I hope they continue to do well.

One of the corners of our house had displaced brick and cracked parging (as well as ugly do-it-yourself repairs from past owners) due to settlement. We had already repaired the settlement but needed to fix the ugly brick/parging. Red Robin was outstanding from start to finish. They responded quickly to our call. Came promptly to give a reasonable quote. They scheduled the work right away and communicated professionally when rain caused them to reschedule by a few days. The job was completed to our total satisfaction by two outstanding workers. The brick they picked matches really well. The corner looks perfect! It rained right after they left, which left one spot on the parging a bit rain streaked. That is being touched up this week. Red Robin is a fantastic business. I wish all contractors were this professional, reliable and great!

Their staff were friendly and responsive. Did not have to wait for quotation or for ages for work to start. Job was completed efficiently, professionally and simultaneously as work was carried out for my neighbor. That was a factor for the reasonable price.

I would not hesitate to recommend Red Robin, and would definitely use them again for any additional work needed. Dave is professional with excellent follow up. The work we needed done was under the minimum charge however they added in some additional minor fixes as well that was most appreciated. We had the work done in Nov 2011. From the first interaction with red robin I was very impressed. Dave was very quick to provide a quote and answered my many questions. The work was done in November. After the winter we noticed some imperfections with the job a nd the stone we chose. Not only was Dave quick to fix the work, they replaced the stone which we had chosen, which had nothing to do with their work. Our 20+ year old chimney was falling apart and we contacted Red Robin Masonry to have it rebuilt. They were very knowledgeable giving us options on how the chimney could be rebuilt in the proper way. They used bricks that matched very well (they even came by the house to drop off sample bricks for our approval). The people that worked on the chimney were very professional, friendly, and polite. You can't go wrong with this company. In fact, we're getting a second chimney rebuilt by this same company next month.

I am a maintenance director of a townhouse complex. With the units over 40 years old, the brickwork needs periodic maintenance. I had used Dave earlier last year and was impressed by their price, performance and professionalism.

This time around, my roofer had indicated that there was a crack in the bricks near the roofline, but did not say where. Dave was unable to find the crack, the first time, but he came back the next time and found it and gave me a reasonable quote. as promised, Dave sent his staff on the day promised. As it turns out another unit reported a crack in the basement a couple of days before Red Robin were supposed to come in. I advised Dave and he gave me a quote for the second job . They came in on time, did the work cleanly and professionally.

I can recommend him without hesitation for any masonry job.

Nowadays, it is a blessing to find a good contractor who santds by their WARRANTY for the work done. I am so glad that I have chosen Red Robin Masonry to repair my chimney in September 2010.

Beginning of March 2012, strong winds gusting over 100 kms swept through Thornhill, few bricks on my chimney were slightly chipped. I contacted Red Robin, they responded immediately and came to my house to take care of the chimney repair while I was away to San Francisco for three weeks. they contacted me by e-mail telling me that once they got up there, they found more repairs were to be made. They stand by their warranty and took the initiative to do a thorough repair. When I returned home, to my surprise, the chimney HAS BEEN REBUILT WITH MATCHING NEW BRICKS. I am so appreciative to their professionalism, excellent customer service and warranty.
