The red brick pillars supporting the front porch on our Riverdale home were leaning, one so badly that the wooden column between the pillar and the roof had completely buckled. Mike precisely disassembled the old pillars and carefully preserved the old bricks to ensure that the new column matched the rest of the house. The new pillars are solid and arrow-straight, but because of the care with which Mike restored the brick work and matched the mortar, they blend perfectly with the vintage of the home and the character of the neighbourhood. He is a superior craftsman.
