Swat Wildlife and Insulation

We have used SWAT three times for different wildlife issues over the years (raccoons under our back deck, birds in our exhaust vents, squirrels in the chimney ...maybe we should move...). So, when our neighbours' shed had raccoons in it, and we noticed some entry holes were on the side of the shed that runs along our side of the backyard, we recommended SWAT.

Randy was excellent - professional, exacting, and courteous. He inspected the inside of the shed to verify that the raccoons were not currently present. He then spent a long time in the hot sun digging and partially burying fencing along the perimeter of the shed that was vulnerable to further entry.

We hope that this is the last time SWAT is needed; but, if we ever do have any further wildlife concerns, they will be the ones we call again.

We had a family of raccoons living under our shed in the backyard. We got a quote from SWAT and they arrived at the scheduled time with all their gear and got right to work. The person who did most of the work was Randy and he was awesome. We honestly have no idea how he was able to fit himself in some of the areas he did to dig down and get the fence in place. We are still marvelling at the job he did. It is perfect. Thanks Randy!

What I thought was a mice problem turned out to be a rat problem. Endore from SWAT carefully inspected all around the house and in the basement. He came up with a detail plan of action and cost before actually doing the work. I would recommend SWAT and if possible ask for Endre. He needs to come back in 3 weeks to inspect so the job is not completely done. Further cpmments to follow.

I noticed a hole in our roof and realized we probably had an unwanted guest squirrel. We had a similar problem last year in another part of the roof and we called SWAT Wildlife back then and again now. Our technician this time was Randy. Randy arrived on time and explained the process - one way trap door so the squirrel can get out but not back in. After installing the trap door Randy inspected the rest of the roof to make sure there were no other access points. Randy was very courteous and thorough. If you are unlucky enough to have a squirrel in your roof I would recommend Randy and SWAT Wildlife.

SWAT WILDLIFE did an excellent job for us. They quickly figured out the problem ( squirrels found a hole behind the eaves trough) , and went to work . They were super friendly and knowledgeable. Josh also pinned up some loose flashing from the windstorm.
They did the work quickly and very humanely. Also had them close up a hole with a birds nest. They made sure the birds were ok. Highly recommend.

I booked Swat Wildlife based on all the positive homestar reviews. Unfortunately, my experience was not positive. Swat Wildlife cancelled our appointment and rescheduled later in the day, which we agreed too, but they came over an hour early which was disruptive as we work from home and had to get off a scheduled conference call with our paying customers (not cool!)
Our main concern when we booked Swat wildlife was mice, and we booked them because they say on their website "SWAT Wildlife will do a full inspection of your home from attic, to garage to basement....locating high traffic areas". This is a stretch of what they do, in my opinion. Sure, they looked around, but the guy simply said "everyone has mice, and mice get in everywhere". Well, based on other people's reviews on here, some technicians from this company in other cases did find entry points and upon inspection, also found other problems and provided preventative solutions to the customer. I was thus expecting more; the website is leading. As it turns out, we found some blatant areas after the guys left that we thought may be entry points (along with a likely mouse nest), but we expected the professionals to help us with that!
Some poison was then thrown into the attic, three left downstairs, and
The guy also said, "Ill leave a rat poison too in case"...what! If you think I have rats, shouldn't you be doing more of an inspection (see above)!!
The guys left in about 15 minutes at most! For 320.00 bucks, I could have got poison and thrown it in my attic in 15 minutes for much less.
And finally, I had a coupon, which they said they would honor, but I have called twice now and have not received compensation. Its been three weeks.
So, in the end, not worth it. Buy your own poison if you have mice and save yourself the money. Or, try another company that actually cares that you have mice and helps you rid them, as anyone can simply put mouse poison around...........

We had a dead animal under our deck and they were able to remove it quickly and without damaging the deck. It was also very friendly service at a great price!

It's their busy season, but SWAT arrived 2 days after I called, (just as promised) and got 2 racoons out of my garage in 20 minutes, without setting a trap! Our technician (Endre) was very professional, hard working and friendly. They were also much cheaper than competitive quotes and did GREAT work. I'd recommend SWAT without hesitation!
